Be Still and Know
I heard The LORD say; “Be still and know…”
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 KJV.
As The LORD is speaking, I see a VIDEO playing. I saw myself sitting in a chair looking at war waging all around.
I was very calm and turning my head from side to side watching a fierce battle. I did not try to move or get away from the line of fire.
I had confidence because I knew who fought on my behalf.
“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:14 KJV.
“The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.” Deuteronomy 28:7 KJV.
The most critical thing The LORD wanted me to see was this –– I never stopped working. I went full force at my assignment!
While I sat in the chair and worked, I noticed these things:
- I did not move from the chair
- I had no coffee breaks or food
- I did not lose any production time
- No strongholds or stumbling blocks interrupted my work
- I did not have to dodge any bullets, run for cover, or hide behind walls
“When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.” Psalm 27:2 KJV.
I followed the instruction of The LORD to “Be still!”
I sat in that chair and finished my work on time!
Everyone expecting something from The LORD received his or her request.
NO ONE missed a delivery. My job was “Praying!”
“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21 KJV.
We are in a fierce spiritual battle in which Heaven’s engagement is in activation.
I pray for people to see activity in the “Spiritual Realm”. God’s forces are actively at work on our behalf.
God’s Army is winning the war. However, The LORD needs Watchmen and Intercessors to get on their post!
“Thus saith The LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come: 18 And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.
Yet hear the word of The LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.
For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets.” Jeremiah 9:17-21 KJV.
Thank You LORD! I finally know what Psalm 46:10 means!
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 KJV.
“Ye shall not fear them: for The LORD your God he shall fight for you.” Deuteronomy 3:22 KJV.
“When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for The LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people, and shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; for The LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” Deuteronomy 20:1-4 KJV.
“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of The LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for The LORD will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17 KJV.
Peace Out,

PRAISE GOD!!!
AMEN!!!
Dearest Sherry,
The Lord is always near just when we need Him most. He guides us through the storms of life. He comforts us in the valley of distress. He does not allow the flood waters to overtake His people.
I am grateful that we can be still while the Lord fights on our behalf!
Beautiful….I understand that such a day is before us.
Last year I was in a position of death over life, yet in the Midst of such a report…I heard clearly be still, be silent. In this I moved from the words of medical system to a place of such peace…and strength. Such an amazing experience of Gods presence…in all of this I listen to HIS INNER VOICE.
Obedience leads one out of darkness and into the light.
Lately I have been sensing the presence of Gods army surrounding me, knowing that evil is moving from darkness to gross darkness…yet through GODS FAITH not mine…I see within my spirit life, light destroying such gross darkness. As a revealing, as a scattering..
In this stand still for God is at our right hand, complete your assignment..
Such I understand.
Praise God Nancy,
It is wonderful to know our assignment so we can press in no matter what happens.
We must believe in the faithfulness of God and the promises of His word, or else we loose out out on blessings.
