Becoming a Yielded Servant!
2 Words in 1
The Importance of Presenting Yourself to The LORD!
Jesus said, “Whosoever will, let him come to Me.” (Revelation 22:17).
- You have a calling that will not be quenched.
- You may be called to a specific audience, be it children, teenagers, young grown-ups, young adults or even the elderly.
- It may be to countries or people groups from around the world.
One thing is very certain: wherever or whoever you are encouraged to pursue or focus on, your own effectiveness will depend upon your obedience as well as your prayer life.
There is nothing hidden from God that He doesn’t already know about, for He is The LORD-Who-Sees and the God-Who-Knows.
He has given you a very conscious knowing of what you are called to do.
He already knows the extent of your awareness of Him and He will work with what you give Him in your calling.
We may say we give Him our all, yet even when we say this, a sense of apprehension because of our fear of man’s rejection can cause one to doubt ourselves when we try to obey Him.
But God does not give us the spirit of fear but the Spirit of power, of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7).
His perfect love will alleviate your fear of man as well as your fear of making mistakes.
In the book of Romans 12:1-3 states,
“…. I beseech you brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your worship; it is the right thing to do. And be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God…..”
Why is this important?
Because when you do this, when you present yourself to Him, you are giving yourself to Him as a yielded vessel as being willing to be changed into what you are truly meant to be as a servant that He has been calling you to be.
He will be preparing you to be a sanctuary that is pure and holy, tried and true.
He will give you the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who enables you.
For your body will be the temple of the Holy Spirit; empowered with the humility that enables you to obey His voice.
“Humble yourself in the sight of The LORD so that He will lift you up.” James 4:10.
“My sheep know My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand.” John 10:27-28.
“Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?” 1 Corinthians 6:19.
He will never leave you, nor forsake you! (Deuteronomy 31:6-8), (Hebrews 13:5).
Ensnared
“The LORD rebuke you, Satan; even The LORD rebuke you. Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?” Zechariah 3:2.
Many of us have been ensnared by the adversary to become a failure in this life.
But God, who is great in mercy has pulled us out of the fire trap that was intended for your failure.
For greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
Where the Spirit of The LORD is, there is freedom.
The snare is broken! Declare it!
~ Thomas Downes
Thomas Downes. Walking with The LORD for over 40 years, Thomas runs “The Voice of the Writer” a Prophetic Ministry. His purpose is to present the Word of God and the Love of God with the prophetic heart; the heart that desires to hear the Voice of The LORD, and present His Word for the encouragement of others.

I declare the snare is broken in Jesus name. I am a yielded vessel !Hallelujah!
And I add Psalm 124:7 Our soul has escaped from the snare of the fowler like a bird, the snare is broken (paraphrased by me please). Thank you Sir
The greatest failure in life is being led away from God by false teaching. You can strive and toil and give everything you got but all the success means nothing if you are buying and selling false gospel which is the biggest failure of all. That is the ultimate snare of the enemy of our soul. We need discernment before putting ourselves on the altar of false doctrines. Time to be awake because even the most dedicated elect can for for the false doctrines.
