Behind The Veil of Prayer
Dear Wounded Warrior, your current condition does not disqualify you from Intercession!
Many of God’s most powerful Intercessors and Prophetic Vessels were bleeding while battling yet still stood in the gap.
It’s called selflessness! That’s a Servant’s Heart!
Many of you are interceding for other people’s healings while you are bleeding spiritually, physically ailing.
Many of you are interceding for other people’s breakthrough, even while you’re still bound in unresolved trauma, generational curses and emotional wounds, prolonged wilderness and promises yet to be fulfilled.
Many of you are interceding for other’s to receive provision, meanwhile you are struggling with lack and hardship even dealing with the spiritual backlash and counter attacks from demonic spirits that have been strategically assigned to work against those same individuals.
Behind the veil of prayer, there is often personal pain, unseen warfare, and deep internal battles.
Intercessors often experience “identificational suffering” carrying the burdens of others while simultaneously being pierced themselves.
The Truth is, some of the most powerful intercessors come from a place of weakness. However, that does not declare you powerless.
“My power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9.
“You are seated with Me in heavenly places even while on earth.” Ephesians 2:6.
Remember Job prayed for his friends while still in suffering.
“And The LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends…” Job 42:10.
Job was still broken, afflicted, and misunderstood when he prayed for them. But as he interceded, his own deliverance came.
There was a turning point in The Spirit Realm.
Yeshua prayed on The Cross while He was in agony…..“Father, forgive them…” (Luke 23:34)
The Messiah prayed for the very ones crucifying Him while He was in the midst of His greatest battle.
There was no comfort, no relief — yet He interceded!
Paul made apostolic intercession from prison cells saying: “I make mention of you always in my prayers…” (Romans 1:9, Philippians 1:3–4)
Paul was in chains, shipwrecked, sick, beaten but what did he do? He wrote letters full of power and intercession (Ephesians, Philippians, etc.)
He prayed for The Churches while suffering deeply himself.
The ultimate model of a wounded intercessor is Christ Himself, and in doing so, He unlocked the greatest victory ever known!
God will allow you to intercede even while you’re bleeding to purify your motive, turn out selfishness, force you to pray by Faith and not by sight!!
It is pure Sacrificial Worship — just like the widows mite. (Luke 21:1-4)
Your Authority is forged in the furnace of suffering and enduring.
It deepens your compassion and refines your discernment!
“Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered.” Hebrews 5:8.
Intercession becomes your own deliverance strategy.
Don’t be weary in well doing — in due season you shall reap if you faint not!
Postscript
- Wounded intercessors are not rejected they are trusted.
- God does not use your pain to punish you He uses it to give you authority.
- Every scar becomes a scroll. Every tear becomes a seed.
- You are not disqualified by your battle. You are qualified by your perseverance.

God never forgets those who prayed from the battlefield:
- Healing may come more suddenly than you expect
- Your wounds become keys to others’ breakthroughs
- Heaven marks you with honor as one who stood in the fire and didn’t curse Him
- And just like Job, Jesus, and Paul you become a doorway to freedom for others.

Warning for all of us!
You can’t war for someone else while warring against God.
- Don’t resent those you pray for
- Don’t compare blessings or timing
- Don’t accuse God while interceding for others
If bitterness, jealousy, or doubt creep in, pause and ask God to purify your heart.
True intercession must flow from love even if you’re still waiting.
Shalom

Hallelujah..so true..
Really thanks. I am so tired these days that I can’t write something in detail. My warfares are still severe and requires so much prayer time and concentration. My body is squeezed harder than before by electromagnetic waves and microwave oven-like energy. But still alive thanks to God’s grace. Heavenly peace to all.
