Burning — 2021
You know that feeling when something is burning inside of you, but you can’t put your finger on it?
Well, a friend of mine commented some time ago that something was burning away inside him too. So I found this in Jeremiah 20:9,
“Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.”
But His Word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.”
Yes, there’s something about The Word of God . It burns inside of me and I have to say something.
Hear The LORD now!
“I have placed My Word in My Servants’ hearts. Behold My Servants the Prophets, have My Words burning inside of them,” says The LORD.
“I shall restrain them no longer. My Servants the Intercessors, have My Words burning inside of them and I shall restrain them no longer.
My servants the pastors, the teachers, the preachers have My Words burning inside of them and I shall restrain them no longer.
The time has come,” declares The LORD, “when I will loose My Words to ACHIEVE that for which I sent them.
My Words shall BURN inside those who hear them. My Words shall CONVICT those who hear them.
My Words shall bring to REPENTANCE and to SALVATION those who hear them. My Words are LIFE and TRUTH to all who listen to them.
To those who have ears to hear, eyes to see, and who have My LOVE and My WORDS in your heart, I AM sending your DOUBLE PORTION of anointing.
Receive it now — use it, use your authority in Me. Throw down strongholds. Bind impeding spirits and cast them back where they belong.
I AM The LORD and My Word shall be heard in this land!” Declares The LORD Almighty.
I find this so encouraging at a time when The LORD is calling us, His prophets in particular, to stand up and speak up without fear or favour; when censorship is the worst it’s ever been; and when persecution of those doing so is the more likely result.

This burning of the Holy Spirit is evidence of the sovereignty of God in compelling the heart to obey. There is an interesting scripture about compulsion regarding to evangelism:
“Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” [Luke 14:23]
This is less of a “ask Jesus into your heart” but more of a “repent and be baptised!”
We have decades of the former, and I think a genuine revival will be more about the latter.
