Can You Be a Christian and Be Rich?
Yes, most of the people in the Bible were wealthy.
1) Abraham was rich.
Genesis 13:2 tells us, “Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.”
In fact, he had so much livestock he had to move away from his nephew because the land could not support two wealthy men in the same area.
2) Issac was rich.
Genesis 26:12 says, “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him.”
3) Jacob was rich.
Genesis 30:43 says, “Thus the man became exceedingly prosperous, and he had large flocks, female and male servants, and camels and donkeys.”
4) Joseph was rich.
Genesis 39:2 says, “The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man.”
King David was rich and so was Solomon…. We could go on and on.
God allows people to be rich. So yes, you can be very wealthy and still go to Heaven.
God looks at the heart
Jesus said to me, “I care more about your heart than your stuff.”
God wants to know what you are doing, saying, “I AM not looking at your bank accounts, I’m looking at what you’re doing for Me.
Are you storing up treasure in Heaven?”
God wants to know whom you are serving!
Jesus said you cannot serve both God and money (Matthew 6:24). Jesus cares more about who your allegiance is to.
Will you love God more than things?
Jesus adds: “Listen, My People. Why is money so important to you?
Submit to Me and allow Me to open up your cash flows.
Allow Me to make decisions about your money.
Notice that I look at your heart and character first.
Do you want more money?
Then submit to Me first and allow Me to work on your heart and your character so you can correctly use your money as I have given you.
Rejoice and be glad for I care much more about you than money in your pockets.
You are My prize! You are My beloved! For in you, I AM well pleased!”

Thank you Please tell the ppl of God it’s ok to be rich! This theology that saints should display a broke, busted and disgusted way of life is false and silly. It’s ok to look good, and be good too. The Bible says money answers all things. Ecc.10:19 It is the attitude we have about money. How can we teach abundant Life w/out the principles He gives in sowing and reaping. Then God tells us He’s able to do exceeding, abundantly above… we know this verse, according to what? His power working is us. The will, the power and the purpose of wealth. Philippians 2:13
Thank you.
I needed this reminder today.
