Do you need to be consoled?  Are there wounds in your heart that require tender treatment — a measure of healing or mending?

The world craves those two things and seeks them in various ways but does not ever find them in a true or abiding form.

Clearly, when God’s Word comes to us, there are two obligations we must fulfill: we must receive it with humility, and we must act on what it says.

Psalm 122:3, that’s the way that God intends His people shall give testimony to the rest of the world that they are His people.

The psalmist has a message of comfort. The Creator is also our protector. The one who created the whole universe — the mountains, the seas, the stars.

The Bible promises not just peace, but great peace.  In the world today we tend to have a very low view of peace. 

I have lived by the promises of God and proved them in all circumstances – in war, in famine, in sickness, in loneliness, in bereavement, in misunderstanding.
