A Christian Really Is………..
I can reasonably discuss just about anything with just about anyone.
Friend or not, if we can have a conversation and differ without resorting to name calling or spewing insults, I’m all good.
I appreciate and respect honest, thoughtful responses, and try to give the same to others.
When you put a controversial topic out there, you should expect some kind of constructive response that may differ from your ideas.
I’m aware when I do that and I’m fine with differing opinions. It’s good to be able to talk our ideas through. If you can’t cope with that, I’m okay, too.
Maybe we weren’t really friends anyway, and I am completely okay with not having a social media friendship.
My point is that I am finding people who loudly proclaim inclusivity as a byword are often the ones who are least able to practice it.
I’m hopeful we can actually achieve true unity, which includes respecting everyone’s different perspectives regardless of agreement.
Recognizing authentic expressions versus hateful ones seems to be an area of needed improvement.
Honest assessments require humility and thoughtful reflection.
That people will ridicule, name call, and basically assault President Trump based on their sheer hatred of him (from whatever excuse you want to give for hatred) seems opposed to what the same people say they stand for… it’s discouraging, but we’re all growing.
Telling me what a ‘Christian really is…’ and ‘what Jesus would really do….’ places you in a position of judgement that you probably don’t really want.
Judging President Trump and others harshly does not sound like Jesus either.
Do you even realize what you are saying?
So when you make a nasty broad generalization toward every Christian and others who support him, you might need to consider your own relationship with Jesus first.
It appears there are varying degrees of acceptance between what you require for yourself and what you offer others.
We’ve got to learn how to have adult conversations, yes, about religion and politics.
I’ll give you room to grow. Thanks for giving me the same.
I love President Trump. I love Jesus. I love you. I can also love you from a distance.

Very nicely written. I totally agree with you. I am amazed that so many of the proven prophetic voices are in agreement that Pres. Trump was chosen to complete his assignment and get this country out of the hands of witchcraft that have blatantly shown themselves; and yet other prophetic voices are questioning the validity of his calling. I’m just thankful God knows all our hearts and promises to give wisdom and revelation as we follow the spirit of truth. We know in part and prophesy in part. We are all called to love God and then one another. We are told in scriptures to pray for those in authority, so that’s what I will do.
Bravo, Jill! What amazes me is a couple of people who call themselves prophets on FB (someone sent me their posts) loved Trump in 2016 but are now calling him the ANIT-CHRIST! Whoa..Judgment. I have been writing about that for days..it is rampant among Christians, sad to say. Blessings, Sandi Holman
Very well said!
