“No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.” Luke 8:16-17.

Alarming it is, to go to the average modern Church to find that they are all “Worshiping?”

in the dark. Is it not strange that so many Churches are turning off the lights?

Which do you think they desire most, light or darkness?

Why?

The Scriptures tell us in our text for today that The Church should put the light on a candlestick so that the light can be seen.

This Scripture goes on to say that the light should not be covered up or hidden.

Everyone should know and understand one would not put the candle under the bed! What foolishness is this? Can a thinking man conceive that such an act would be safe?

This is the reason The Church is on fire today, but, that fire is burning down The Church.

Right before the eyes of everyone including The LORD, they choose to cover the light.

The world loves the dark. When the world goes out to play, dance, and celebrate, they want to turn off the lights and do it in the dark.

The scriptures tell us that there are two kingdoms:

1. The Kingdom of the Light
2. The kingdom of darkness.

“For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3-8.

Conclusion:

A true Christian believer will desire to be the light, and when he is fully bright lit then the world of darkness will be able to see clearly The Truth.

One can only conclude that for those who wish to be in the dark are hiding something that they don’t want clearly seen.

The Truth is their lives are not in alignment with The LORD but they prefer to be in the dark to “Hide their sin”.

Even the world wants to hide their sin. They at least know that what they are doing is sin.

I have written this Warning Word in obedience to my Holy Spirit teacher.

I could have said more about The True Light that lights, but I will challenge all reading this Warning to go study for yourselves what The Scriptures say about light verses darkness.
