Just before waking I saw in my sleep a white sign and on it were the words “Columbia River Rising!”

It was very real as if I were there.

Upon waking I researched on the internet these words and to my surprise there is a warning of the Columbia River, which starts in the Rocky Mountains and flows down through several US states, and it is rising up to 4.5 feet [137cm] in some areas, yesterday and today, January 3 and and 4, 2026!

We can interpret this to be a SIGN of a move of God, and there are several things that stand out to me.

This mighty powerful river is 2,000 km [1,243m] long, starting in the mountains (the mighty Rocky Mountains) and flows through places providing electricity and drinking water.

There is an outpouring happening right now and the dams along the way generate power.

Due to these dams, the number of salmon spawning has greatly decreased. The flow of the river stops at dams.

It flows northwest and then south into the U.S. state of Washington, then turns west to form most of the border between Washington and the state of Oregon before emptying into the Pacific Ocean. “The largest contributor to this river is the SNAKE river, whose drainage basin is the size of France!”

If this signifies spiritually the move of the Spirit, we can read a lot of meanings into this sign.

The river is RISING.

The Snake River contributes the most water.

The dams can be churches that are in the path of the river and they can stop the flow, or have it produce power and water!

This is a powerful encouraging sign of the Lord to see a simple comparison of a spiritual move of God.

• Snakes: the enemy
• Hydroelectric dams: Churches
• River: move of The Holy Spirit
• Mountains: place to meet God
• Columbia: the powerful move of fresh water starting in the mountains and flowing into the Pacific Ocean.

I believe God is speaking in symbols and dreams. It is our job to search out what we see and hear Him explain it.

There is more to this message, but that is one point I feel He is making.

This is the time of a MOVE of the Spirit.

Will The Churches and people respond?

May the River of God flow through the land, feeding, nourishing and providing power to bring in the lost and weary.

It is time!
