Dereka Decks the Point Regarding “It Is Wrong To Condone What Is Wrong”
Our sister, Dereka Lowe has made a thoughtful and very important point about this matter that is worth pondering.
In her comment (in full below), she wrote:
“It’s blasphemy. And it’s coming from [P]resident Trump who admitted that he posted this picture.
I voted for Trump but this is not right and can not be condoned[,] period.
It wouldn’t be if it were Biden or any previous presidents.”
That’s so true!
If it were Joe Biden, worse still, if Barack Obama had illustrated himself as Jesus, you can imagine the outcry from brethren condoning the blasphemy:
‘Aha! Didn’t we say it?
Obama is the anti-Christ!’
And they could cite Scripture to support their claim, and say: ‘Barack Obama is indeed the anti-Christ “who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped…showing himself that he is God.” ‘ (2 Thessalonians 2:4 NKJV)
So, it is okay if one man commits blasphemy against Jesus, but it is VERY evil/ anti-Christ if another man had done the same thing?
Brethren, “if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by The Law as transgressors.” James 2:9 NKJV.
Let us judge ourselves so that we are not judged.
“For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.” 1 Corinthians 11:31 NKJV.

Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves. And like Paul, I am “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
Esther made a good point too!
I plead the blood of Jesus over Trump every day and ask God to send angels to protect him and his staff as he fights the good fight for America. That picture looks exactly like what I’ve been praying for. Trump knows it was God that saved him from the bullet in Pennsylvania and he has said so. He does not think he is Christ. The Bible says to lay hands on the sick for them to be healed. Metaphorically this picture shows how God, is using Trump to heal America.
If you were to take the time to listen to President Trump, in his own defense, you probably wouldn’t see things as you do. He was dealing with the pope, who also wears the white robe and red around the top.
