Do Not Let Your Heart Be Troubled
A psalm to praise and sing to God aloud.
Do Not Let Your Heart Be Troubled
Do not let your heart be troubled, precious one
Believe in God
Believe also in Me
Let My Grace give you eternal encouragement
And good hope,
Encouraging your heart
And strengthening you in every good deed
And word
So that you can walk in the life
I have planned for you—
Oh walk with a glad heart
Find one thing to make you smile-
One thing to be thankful for
Sing and praise Me
Shake off the sorrow
From your lips let a merry tune follow
And fight the good fight of faith….
Oh I give You my heart, O LORD
I give You my burdens, O LORD
Oh yes, all the days of the poor are hard
But a cheerful heart has a continual feast
I will hold onto Your Word
Oh some days it is easier said than done
And yet I press on
For it is written:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
Oh yes, You are my blessed Rock!
Oh walk with a glad heart
Find one thing to make you smile-
One thing to be thankful for
Sing and praise Him
Shake off the sorrow
From your lips let a merry tune follow
And fight the good fight of faith….
For it is written:
O LORD, You have searched me and known me
You know when I sit down and when I rise up
You discern my thoughts from far away
You search out my path and my lying down
And are acquainted with all my ways
Even before a word is on my tongue
O LORD, You know me completely
So I won’t let my heart be troubled…
Oh I walk with a glad heart
I have found one thing to make me smile-
One thing to be thankful for
I sing and praise You
And shake off the sorrow
From my lips a merry tune follows
And I fight the good fight of faith….
And I remember Your Words:
Do not let your heart be troubled, precious one
Believe in God
Believe also in Me
Let My Grace give you eternal encouragement
And good hope,
Encouraging your heart
And strengthening you in every good deed
And word
So that you can walk in the life
I have planned for you—
So do not let your heart be troubled, precious one
Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and of good courage
Do not fear nor be dismayed
I will never leave you, nor forsake you
For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go!
Ohh precious one, do not let your heart be troubled
Ohh precious one, do not let your heart be troubled….
Call on Me and I will be there…
