Don’t Take The Bait!
I heard, “Don’t take the bait!”
Don’t fall into the trap the enemy sets.
He wants to trip us up in any way he can.
I hear, to “Stop and Wait and Listen!”
Listen — for that still small voice.
Listen — for The Holy Spirit.
Ask — and then wait!
There are so many verses in the Bible about waiting on The LORD — waiting for confirmation before you step out.
The enemy goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
The Bible says if you wait, the enemy will fall into the very pit that he dug out for you.
God our Father tells us that the wicked one’s plans backfire and his violence will fall on his own head.
And I hear this. Just as airliners see on their radar that there is a storm ahead and fly above it or around it, so it is in The Spirit.
I had a Vision of an Eagle who waited upon the Winds of the Spirit to blow, and he is flying above the storm on the Wings of the Spirit, far above the principalities and powers and rulers of the darkness of this world and the spiritual wickedness in high places.
This is you, Beloved,
“My Child. Do not lose heart.
Believe that you shall see My Goodness in the land of the living.
Wait for the Whispers of the Spirit. Be of good courage!
And I shall strengthen your heart: Wait, I say, on The LORD!
For I make the Winds My Messengers, flames of fire My Servants.
Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’
The Wind blows where it wishes. You hear the Sound, but you do not know where He comes from or where He is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.
Refrain from anger and abandon wrath; do not fret — it can only bring harm.
I have rescued you from the snare of the fowler, I have torn the net in two and you have slipped away. Whom the Son has freed is free indeed!
For the evildoers will be cut off, but those who wait upon The LORD will inherit the land.
Yes, Beloved, yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.
Don’t take the bait, My Child.
It may seem right to you, but wait. It may be a trap. Wait upon Me and I will answer you. and show you the way.
And you shall mount up with wings like an eagle: you will run and not grow weary, you will walk and not faint!”
“He who digs a pit will fall into it, and he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.” Proverbs 26:27.
“Behold, the wicked one travails with evil; he conceives trouble and births falsehood. He has dug a hole and hollowed it out; he has fallen into a pit of his own making. His trouble recoils on himself, and his violence falls on his own head.” Psalm 7:14-16.
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12.
“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.” 1 Peter 5:7-9.
“Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as prey to their teeth. We have escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowler; the net is torn, and we have slipped away. Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 124:6-8.
“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall. But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:30-31.
“Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:7-8.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” Psalm 91:1-4.
