This morning I was thinking about life’s seasons — times of blessings, and times of challenges and how people uniquely navigate each phase.

We walk through times of uncertainty and clarity, darkness and light, and in each season we’re shaped by the experiences that we face.

Whether its sickness or health, each season brings its own set of lessons and opportunities for growth.

When we look back we can see that every season in our life served a purpose in shaping us into who we were meant to be.

As believers, we experience seasons of hearing from The LORD, when the heavens seem wide open, and God’s Voice resonates within us, as we hear him so clearly.

But then there are times when the heavens are as brass and God’s Presence feels distant and nowhere to be found.

But through it all, both the mountaintops and valleys, the ebbs and the flows of our spiritual journey, we trust God because His sovereignty remains unchanged even when our circumstances shift.

There was one season in my life when God was powerfully moving and I was receiving dreams, visions and revelation on a daily basis.

So what sparked this outpouring of His anointing and favor at the time?

Was it something that I did?

One thing was that He was getting me ready for the gift and calling that He had on my life. But it was also my decision to press into God’s Presence that opened the door to a deeper level of intimacy and revelation with Him.

As I made a deliberate choice to pursue Him through His Word, Prayer, and spending time in His presence, I opened up a portal of communication with Him.

I discovered how to dialogue with Him, learned what pleased Him, and what grieved Him. Those are valuable keys to knowing Him personally.

I learned to recognize His presence, and through discerning of spirits, recognize the presence of angels and even discern when demons were around.

My personal experience of being thrown into the lion’s den, as well as the fiery furnace so often made me realize that the enemy’s intense opposition often indicates that I was going in the right direction.

As I’m writing this I see that many of you have been going through fiery trials but you’re wondering why God allowed them.

Sometimes we don’t know, but these trials are not without purpose. When we learn from them, we will emerge stronger and wiser from them.

Many of you want a closer more personal relationship with The LORD.

You know that He’s called you to do something but you can’t seem to break through the opposition that’s coming against you.

You need to pursue Jesus, and not look at the giant in front of you.

For some of you there are things in your lives that need to be uprooted to move you to a higher place with God. There are gifts and callings being hindered because of these things.

For some of you, there are things in your past that you are holding on to and afraid to release. You are disheartened, because you miss the good old days that you had, and some are still suffering psychologically and emotionally because of the awful situations that you’ve been through. Some of you been through traumatic things in your past and although you were delivered, these horrifying memories are now resurfacing.

Those bitter roots need to be exposed, dealt with and then severed. Just like a plant, unless you lay the ax to the root, they will keep sprouting.

Remember that Satan is the accuser of the brethren. Don’t buy into his lies.

Some of you are re-living the thoughts of the past which may have been from a bad relationship, a divorce, an addiction or maybe even getting bullied. Others have been sexually abused as a child and need inner healing.

The LORD is also showing me that there are many of you that are afraid to trust anyone because people have hurt you many times in your life.

Jesus wants to bring healing to you emotionally, mentally and spiritually so that these thoughts will be mere memories rather than tormenting flashbacks.

The LORD wants to bring you into your true identity, so that you could advance in your calling and your gifting.

Then there are others who are still holding on to unforgiveness, guilt, shame, anger, resentment or bad attitudes.

The enemy will bring distorted thoughts as well as people into your lives to derail you from who you’ve been created to be.

You need to know your tribe so that you are not led astray. You must learn to recognize both the voice of The Holy Spirit and the voice of the accuser.

We all have a place in The Kingdom of God and we need to be free in our mind’s to discover our callings.

I believe that in this next move of God, Jesus is going to bring a deep conviction on us but also to those who abused us whether it was verbally, physically, emotionally or sexually.

He wants us to forget the former things, not to dwell on the past, and release others that hurt us so that He could remove the shackles and set us free.

Some of you have turned back to drinking and taking drugs to mask the pain of the past and the pressure of the present season.

This is a trap set by the enemy. Don’t fall into the landmines and booby traps that he is laying out to destroy you.

Don’t submit to his lies. You need a clear mind, and a clear conscience to receive the downloads from The Throne of God

The LORD says, “Let it all go!

Allow Me to repair those wounded places in your life.

I have plans for you and as you trust Me, I will bring you through.

Although people may fail you, I will never fail you or break My Covenant with you, neither will I revise My Promises to you.

Get out your journals, get out your pens, write the vision and make it plain.

It’s time to receive a download from The Throne of God!” says The LORD.
