Exploring the Depth and Glory of the Everlasting Gospel
The Message of Salvation through Faith in Christ is ETERNAL TRUTH!
it is as solid and unchanging as God Himself, and those who believe The Gospel will reap everlasting benefits.
When one considers the words “Eternal Truth”, he finds that the glorious Gospel was created in the mind and heart of our Heavenly Farther even before the Earth was created and the lives of men.
The Scriptures say Jesus was, “The Lamb slain” before the foundations of the world.
This means that God knew beforehand, all men who will be saved.
“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of THE LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.” Revelation 13:8 emphasis added.
The Gospel is the Everlasting Gospel. It was conceived even before Adam and Eve and the day they sinned in the Garden.
God knew before they did choose sin that they would choose to sin. Then God did conceive the marvelous Everlasting Gospel to save sinful men.
The Eternal God is ALL KNOWING and even knows in his infinite knowledge all things from the beginning till the end.
This is what the Scriptures say about God or Mighty Heavenly Eternal Father.
“For He delivered us and saved us and called us with a holy calling [a calling that leads to a consecrated life — a life set apart — a life of purpose], not because of our works [or because of any personal merit — we could do nothing to earn this], but because of His own purpose and grace [His amazing, undeserved favor] which was granted to us in Christ Jesus BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN [ETERNAL AGES AGO].” 2 Timothy 1:9.
The message then of the wonderful Gospel is much deeper then many men even know, and certainly is not based upon any ideas of men themselves.
The Eternal God did know all men before he every created them.
This is a Bible Fact. If He did know them He did also know who would be saved and those who would never be saved.
Now we read Church History and we discover two Great Men who were Deep Thinkers.
One was John Calvin who taught that God did predestine men to be saved. He labored the subject — some think to a fault — that certain men were chosen by God to be saved.
He called it Predestination. See Romans 8,
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE. For whom HE DID FOREKNOW, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” Romans 8:28-30.
The other well know great thinker was Jacobus Arminius.
He stressed the point that all men have a choice and can and must choose. To him then Men were not so much predestined to be saved but they could choose for or against by their free choice.
He liked the Romans 10 verse that says:
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13.
These two men did conflict with each other and because of their extensive teaching they caused a great divide in men which has affected the Church drastically causing much division.
But.. these two men were both right. They should have gotten together instead of fighting each other, causing division.
The fact is The Gospel was given by God before men were born, and It was predesignated to certain men to be saved.
We have much Scripture that talks about the many chosen by God to be his Elect people on earth.
Men Like Jacob and Isaac. Men who were chosen by God even before they were born!
“(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God ACCORDING TO ELECTION might stand, not of works, but OF HIM THAT CALLETH) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.” Romans 9:11-13.
So God did choose some — before they were born!
Yet, if those who were followers of Arminius and believed that Salvation is by Choice would only understand that God does foreknow all men who would be or ever will believe,
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Romans 8:29.
The LORD not only chooses some — even The Elect of God — yet He still foreknows who will choose Him by Faith — and they too will be saved!
So both are right.
There is such as those who are Predestined to be saved, and foreknows those who God knows will yet choose him.
There are two then — The Predestined — and all who choose Him!
The Scriptures tell us that certain men were chosen in Christ before the world began, but it also says that as many as shall call upon The LORD [choose Him — or receive Him] will also be saved.
The LORD knows all men.
This is how he did create the Everlasting Gospel before the World began, and this is how The LORD knows all men.
He knows how the world will end — and exactly what will happen in the future.
It is The LORD’s all-knowing of all things, His eternal Gospel Salvation — that men are Saved.
God’s Everlasting Gospel!
I have written this Word in obedience to my Holy Spirit Teacher.
