A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Faith Over Gold
Doing everything for the Glory of GOD
Letting Faith come forth bringing true victory!
For pure gold put in the fire
Comes out of it proved pure;
Genuine Faith put through this suffering
Comes out proved genuine
Though gold is pretty to the eye, it is just a stone—
Every test of faith brings me closer to His Feet
In moving mountains, in walking on water
I put Faith over gold
Belief over unbelief
Light over darkness
His Ways and Will over mine
For when His Son comes back
He will find Faith in my heart
He will have my faith on display as evidence of His Victory!
Doing everything for the Glory of GOD
Letting faith guide my steps bringing true victory!
I won’t give up just because I haven’t seen it happen yet
Like a plant that hasn’t bloomed in years
And yet I hope
Like a plant that seems dead
And yet I water it
Every test of Faith no matter how mundane
Builds upon the faith already in my heart
I put Faith over gold
Belief over unbelief
Light over darkness
His Ways and Will over mine
For when His Son comes back
He will find Faith in my heart
He will have my faith on display as evidence of His Victory!
Without Faith it is impossible to please GOD
By Faith we understand the universe
Was created by the Word of GOD
That what is seen was not made
Out of things that are visible
Oh, increase my faith!
All things are possible for one who believes!
I put Faith over gold
Belief over unbelief
Light over darkness
His Ways and Will over mine
For when His Son comes back
He will find Faith in my heart
He will have my faith on display as evidence of His Victory!

“So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:5.
“I know how great this makes you feel, even though you have to put up with every kind of aggravation in the meantime. Pure gold put in the fire comes out of it proved pure; genuine faith put through this suffering comes out proved genuine. When Jesus wraps this all up, it’s your faith, not your gold, that God will have on display as evidence of his victory.” 1 Peter 1:7 MSG.
“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.” 1 John 5:4.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7.
“But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold. My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept his way and have not turned aside.” Job 23:10-11.
