Fully Known by Fire of Union
“You have searched me, LORD, and You know me.” Psalm 139:1 NIV.
David’s words in Psalm 139 capture both the wonder and vulnerability of being known by God.
It’s not sentimental, it’s more about what you carry cannot be erased and not because you made a name for yourself, but because it cost you everything; every motive, every desire, every whisper had to pass through His fire to refine you.
“Stand [Firm] Therefore in the Liberty by Which Christ Has Made Us Free.” Galatians 4:1-20.
When the world asked for your compromise, you turned away from its weak and worthless principals and into this consuming fire.
It’s a fire that gradually takes you out of hiding and into a relationship where love no longer depended upon concealment.
His Fire does not present divine knowledge — It presents as intimate presence.
God knows you because He is near. He sees you because He is relationally involved with you.
He searches not to destroy the one being searched, but because nothing within His creation is outside His care.
The longing to be fully known and fully loved reflects something deeply rooted within your original design.
Once known by YAH, we again enjoy the unhindered communion before shame fractured the openness created in the garden of Eden.
To appreciate God’s nearness is to become completely visible. There are no carefully managed versions of oneself within His presence.
- No performance.
- No self image management.
- No selective disclosure.
- Nothing hidden behind spiritual language, emotional distance, competence, or religious activity.
As a result, our unconsciously exposure can feel like it threatens our love, yet the Gospel reveals something radically different.
‘Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us…” 1 John 4:7-9.
Going back to the image that we are of jars of clay refuses the illusion that human vessels must appear perfect for God’s power to be real.
Perfection does not equal love, and fragility does not disqualify you of His power in fact it’s the beginning of understanding your authentic beauty in the eyes of YAH.
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” 2 Corinthians 4:7 NIV.
The truth to live unhidden is to not deny your weakness but to realize our strength clearly belongs to God.
We honor God when we allow His grace to be seen within our weakness. This is not glorifying sin, celebrating brokenness, but a refusal to pretend that transformation means we no longer need grace.
Our transformative reality directly confronts shame’s deepest lies: the belief that if we were fully known, we would ultimately become unlovable.
The risk allows you to encounter YAH’s grace in hidden places, you are able to extend grace wisely and truthfully towards yourself and others.
It means that the God who sees every hidden motive, wound, fear, sin, longing, weakness, and unfinished place that does not respond in ignorance, denial, or distance but with a response of truth and grace through Christ Jesus.
This is why The Elect must awaken to be fully known.
The life of The Elect is to remain near God while still in process. Many withdraw whenever weakness resurfaces because they assume struggle itself threatens the relationship, however intimacy often deepens profoundly.
This new reality that Yahweh knew we were unfinished when he called us is one of the deepest and most transformative realities of the Christian life.
And to be fully known and loved by God changes relationships with people in your life. If you are less governed by shame, you become more capable of humility, mercy, and truthfulness.
You are driven by compassion and not defensiveness and harshness towards those where weakness is found.
This is exciting part of a healed life. Not perfection, but freedom. Not the absence of struggle, but a different relationship to struggle.
Not hiding, but returning. Not performance, but communion as the gates of heaven have opened! Hallelujah!
Let every step you take be lit by this unveiled union you carry. Not hiding. Not performing. Not pretending.
The city upon the hill cannot shine without its stones being set. The scrolls must be read, the lamps must be trimmed, the sons must rise.
Understand, you are the lampstand of a kingdom not of this world.
When you burn, nations shift. When you align, the path is cleared.
“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2.
Kings who behold the Lamb become kings who carry the city. The sons of light are not chasing rays, they are becoming them and nations will follow.
Father,
Thank You for knowing me and loving me fully.
You knew at my conception to develop every cell like a piece of embroidery, “intricately woven” with nerves, veins, and muscles to form your divine creation.
You are The Master Watchmaker who understands the complexities of his creation and knows all the secret workings of my soul.
Help me receive this truth not as a doctrine, but as your true love.
When thoughts of pride come to poison my spirit, I want Your Fire to burn off every mimic, every false mantle and every performance build on self.
Teach me to stop hiding from Your love and to be faithful to Your Flame. Let Your truth expose what needs healing, and let Your grace hold me as my transformation continues.
Form within me a life marked by honesty, repentance, humility, peace, and communion with You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Shalom
