Without controversy, the devil and his angels have absolutely no POWER!

Power belongs to God!

“God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: That Power belongs to God.”   Psalm 62:11 NKJV. (See also Revelation 5:13-14; 7:11-12.)

The power/ authority the devil and his minions are using — mindlessly rampaging, ravaging and savaging the world of mankind, was given to him to serve God with; but he has rather been using it against God since the moment he rebelled in The Beginning  (1 John 3:8; Isaiah 14:12-20; Ezekiel 28:14- 19.

The Beginning was an age LONG before man was created.  For more, please see “The Earth Was Without Form, Void: What Happened?“.)

However, now at the end of the ages, our Lord Jesus Christ has given us Power and Authority over all the power/authority of the enemy.

“Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them Power and Authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.”   Luke 9:1 NKJV.

“Behold, I give you The Authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power [authority] of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”   Luke 10:19 NKJV.

In the above Scripture, “serpents and scorpions” refer to principalities and powers, the highest ranking evil spirits.

If you know and use your Jesus-given Power and Authority, you will easily fight and overcome them all.

Go to Revelation 20:10,14 and see their POWERLESSNESS!

They are powerless.

The devil and his angels?

They are POWERLESS!

The evil power they project and are prancing about with, is all “Wizard of Oz” stuff. (I’m referring to, and inferring from, the 1939 film of that name.)

As in the film, the person behind the curtain spewing all the deception and fear is a bluffing coward called the devil and Satan.

If you submit to God and resist him, he will flee from you in terror.

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”   James 4:7.

Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves. And like Paul, I am “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
