How Does This Begin?
The LORD is totally in Love with you when you have desire to hear His Voice.
There is never a day when Love is not His objective.
He speaks with power. He also speaks softly, even a gentle whisper that you could miss very easily.
But know this with absolute certainty. His ability to get your attention does not depend on your knowledge, or how much you know about Him.
He develops your sensitivity to Him by what you are willing to let Hm have about you.
Humility, humbling yourself in His presence, is the way that affects your conscience. By becoming consciously aware that He wants to show you His love for you.
But how does this begin?
How will you know whether The LORD has this desire for you to hear and understand His voice?
How will you know whether He has any kind of designs for your life?
Is there really any kind of starting point for you to arrive at?
If you have never been aware of His presence, how would you know whether His Presence is something you would desire?
He gave you something you may not have seen or been aware of before. He gave you His Word.
Before you were even aware of it, it was always available to you.
In the Bible, in Isaiah 55 He says
“I send forth My Word. It will not return to Me cancelled out; it will accomplish the purpose for which I sent it,” Isaiah 55:11.
His Word has been available to mankind for thousands of years. The Old Testament, and the New Testament.
The Old Testament contains the prophecies of the coming Messiah.
It speaks prophetically of the things the Messiah will be doing; healings, miracles changing lives of the destitute, healing the blind and lame, raising up people who had died; and also experiencing the rejection by His own people.
But the New Testament speaks of His Arrival where, in the Gospel of John 1 saying
“And the Word became flesh and dwells among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14.
Jesus Christ is that Word
Here now is the reason He came:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His on to condemn the World, but that the world through Him will be saved.” John 3:16.
We Love Him because He first loved us.
This is why we know He loves us, for His purpose for you is to know Him, and to know His Father.
How can you humble yourself to Him unless you came to really know that He really and truly loves you.
When you believe in Him, His love will cover a multitude of sin with the blood He shed on the cross for you.
He has been totally in love with you, because now you have the right to believe Him when He says,
“Come unto Me all you who are weary, and burdened and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light,” Matthew 11:28-30.
“My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.“ John 10:27.
