I AM the Bride’s Portion!
I heard, “I AM the Bride’s Portion!”
And I kept hearing this phrase being sung in my spirit, “There is Love….”
I remembered it from many years ago and so Googled it. It is from “The Wedding Song” sung by Peter, Paul and Mary in 1971.
Wow. Even their names have prophetic meaning!
Peter means “rock.”
Paul means “humble, to cease, to rest.”
Mary means “Beloved.”
And then I heard to look up the Jewish Wedding Ceremony.
Before the wedding, the ‘KETUBAH’ is signed which is a marriage contract. The responsibilities of the Groom in relation to the Bride’s needs are written, including food, clothing, shelter, and medical care.
The ‘MOHAR’ is also included in it, which is the price paid by the Groom.
Oh, I hope and pray you feel the Love of your Bridegroom King who purchased you with His Blood and know, “There is Love….”
“Beloved, for too long you have been told that sickness and disease, depression and oppression, hardship, lack and poverty are your portion in life.
I tell you, Blessed One, that I AM your Portion.
I AM the Sun of Righteousness who arises with healing in His Wings.
I AM the Bread of Life, your Heavenly Manna.
I AM the Bread of Presence which resides in your temple. When you eat of My Portion, healing of mind, body, and soul springs forth speedily.
Know and believe that the Righteous are never forsaken nor their children begging for bread.
Do you know who you are, My Child?
Do not let the enemy lie to you and tell you that you are not loved.
You were created by Me and for Me from the beginning of time. I designed every part of you down to your DNA.
You are The Bride of Christ. I AM your Bridegroom King. You are seated with Me in the Heavenly Places.
The Marriage Contract was signed at the Cross in The Blood of The Lamb. It is finished. You were bought with a Price.
I have handed you the Ketubah; it is My Promise to provide for you forever. Hold onto it and cherish it and believe it.
I AM He who is faithful and true.
I have paid the Price for you, Dear One. You do not belong to the kingdom of darkness.
You are Mine and I AM yours.
I AM your Kinsman Redeemer.
The Bride belongs to the Bridegroom.
You are My Beloved and I AM yours. Feast on the Abundance of My House and Drink from the River of My Delights.
Your very DNA is singing to Me.
I AM devoted to you forever. We are One.
I AM drawing you, run after Me, The King has brought you into His Chambers, My Banner over you is Love.
Forever, the Union of our Spirits shall sing the Heavenly Song together, “There is Love….””
KETUBAH : A Jewish marriage contract that outlines the responsibilities of the groom, in relation to the bride. It is the groom’s responsibility to provide for the bride’s needs, including food, clothing, shelter, and medical care. The MOHAR is included in it, which is the PRICE paid by the groom.
The ketubah is read in the original ARAMAIC text, and is given to the Groom for Him to hand to His Bride and for her to hold on to for all the days of their marriage. It has the standing of a legally binding agreement and is the property of the Bride.
INTERESTING FACTS: Traditional ketubot are not written in the Hebrew language, but in ARAMAIC. Most scholars agree that Aramaic was the primary language of Jesus and his disciples. Aramaic was the common vernacular of first-century Palestine when the ketubot became standardized.
Its retention in the gospels signals eyewitness authenticity and links the reader to the very sound of Jesus’ voice, the divine and human together—fully God exercising sovereign power, yet fully man dwelling among His people. (Biblehub)
ARAMAIC expressions spoken by Jesus:
“Talitha cumi” (Mark 5:41) “And Jesus took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, “Little girl, I say unto you, arise.””
“Ephphatha” (Mark 7:34) “And looking up to heaven, He sighed deeply and said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means, “Be opened!”). Immediately the man’s ears were opened and his tongue was released, and he began to speak plainly.”
“Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (Mark 15:34). “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken Me?”
PORTION : Strong’s Hebrew 2506: share, part, territory, one’s possession, inheritance, chosen portion, award (from God)
Lyrics to “The Wedding Song”
He is now to be among you at the calling of your hearts.
Rest assured this troubadour is acting on His part.
The union of your spirits here has caused Him to remain
for whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name
There is love
There is love
Well a man shall leave his mother and a woman leave her home
They shall travel on to where the two shall be as one.
As it was in the beginning, is now until the end.
Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again.
(And) There is love
There is love
Well then what’s to be the reason for becoming man and wife?
Is it love that brings you here, or love that brings you life?
For if loving is the answer then who’s the giving for?
Do you believe in something that you’ve never seen before?
There is love
(Oh) There is love
(Oh) The marriage of your spirits here has caused Him to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name
There is love
(Ah) There is love…
Bible Verses :
“You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ, but am sent ahead of Him.’ The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom stands and listens for him, and is overjoyed to hear the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete,” John 3:28-29.
“For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body. “ 1 Corinthians 6:20.

“Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the Bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your forefathers, who ate the manna and died, the one who eats this Bread will live forever,” John 6:57-58.
“For as a young man marries a young woman, so your sons will marry you; and as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you,” Isaiah 62:5.

Hosea 2:19-20.
“Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. She was given clothing of fine linen, bright and pure.” For the fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints. Then the angel told me to write, “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God,” Revelation 19:7-9.
“Draw me, we will run after You! The King has brought me into His chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in You, we will remember Your love more than wine: the upright adore You,” Song of Solomon 1:4.

This song, exactly this video I have been watching and listening to maybe 50 times in a short time frame about 12 or more years ago. That you chose this today touches my heart very deep. I know every word of the song, every nuance, but yet did not dare to watch it again. Ehat is VERY interesting: A week ago I read an article about ketubah and traditional Jewish wedding customs. Why ? The Spirit of the LORD led me. And tonight now this reminder…. Something must be “in the air”…. Deborah, be blessed for your work of love and understanding. Just a note: Here is 5 to midnight exacrly now :)
