I Put My Trust in You
A psalm to praise and sing to God aloud.
I Put My Trust in You
When I lie down to sleep at night
On bended knee, I pray to Thee
To keep me in Your Arms
Safe from all harm
And that You would bless and preserve me..
When I say my prayers for the night
I place my hope in You—
A hope that tomorrow
The sun will rise again
And I will awaken safe in peace…
When the sun rises
Let the morning bring me word
Of Your unfailing Love
For I have put my trust in You
In You alone, does my life belong…
When I place my life in Yours
I have no fear
No fire shall scorch me
No flood shall sweep me away
You are and always will be that fourth man in the fire…
When I wait upon You, my LORD,
My strength shall be renewed
I shall mount up with wings like eagles
I shall run and not be weary
I shall walk and not faint…
When I walk upon the paths You have ordained
I walk on the Highway of Holiness
You will uphold me with Your Righteous Right Hand
For You are my lamp, O LORD
The LORD shall enlighten my darkness…
I have put my trust in You
I have put my life into Yours
O LORD, preserve me in perfect peace…
When I lie down to sleep at night, I have no fear
You will preserve me
You will keep me in perfect peace
Because my mind is stayed on You
Because I trust in You
Trust in The LORD forever,
For in Yah, The LORD, is everlasting strength
“The LORD is good to those who hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him.”

“I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8 NKJV.
“Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.” Psalm 16:1 NKJV.
“For You are my lamp, O Lord; The LORD shall enlighten my darkness.” 2 Samuel 22:29 NKJV.
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in The LORD forever, for in Yah, The LORD, is everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26:3-4 NKJV.
“A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray. No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there,” Isaiah 35:8-9 NKJV.
“But those who wait on The LORD Shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NKJV.
“Fear not, for I AM with you; be not dismayed, for I AM your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NKJV.
