Come LORD, come! Hurry LORD, hurry!

I am getting desperate to see a move of God throughout The United Kingdom.

I see so much irrational and unnecessary argument between brothers and sisters in Christ — both claiming the moral high ground!

Mostly ungracious, often undignified, occasionally quite rude and ill-tempered, Christian love long since thrown out of the windows.

I feel like that line from The Green Mile, ‘I’m tired boss. Mostly I’m tired of people being ugly to each other!’

And I’m talking about The United Kingdom, not America!

I took my complaint before The LORD. I was ready to repent too, because I’m not entirely innocent in all this either.

He pointed me to a text we have all seen many times before — in Habakkuk 1,

“Look at the nations and watch — and be utterly amazed. For I AM going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” Habakkuk 1:5.

I sat digesting this for a moment and The LORD said, “I AM taking the wind from their sails.”

I just waited for The LORD to continue, “I AM turning them around.

They, those who oppose Me or are rebellious, they will know who I am and will change their ways.

I AM making myself known to them.

I AM convicting them.

I AM facing them with the consequences of their own words and actions.

I AM replacing their anger with My Love!” says The LORD.

“Many will feel loved for the first time in their lives — and they will be overwhelmed by it.

My Love shall conquer all their doubts and all their fears.”

As I was taking this all in, The LORD continued, “There is coming a great turn around and many will find Me for the first time.

While there will be some who remain in rebellion, who get even angrier at their betrayal by their ex-comrades in arms, even so, there will be those who turn from their wicked ways for Me to heal their land.”

These last words made me ask, “But Lord, I thought that scripture applied to a nation. I’ve never before thought of it as a personal promise?”

The LORD replied, “My Ways aren’t your ways, and My Thoughts aren’t your thoughts!

I will heal land for those whom I will heal.

I will turn My children back to Myself, even though they have never known Me.

As I have said, ‘By their love, you shall know them!’

Love for Me, love for each other, and love for you!

My Love shall prevail!”
