I’m Still In Awe!
A psalm to sing and praise to God, out loud.
I’m Still In Awe!
I’m still in awe of You
Even after all these years
You know just how to make me smile
I’m still in awe of You
Even after all the tears
You know just how to heal me
Oh You know just what to say
Your Words keep me stable.
I’m ecstatic over what You say
Like one who strikes it rich
I love what You reveal
For everything fits perfectly
Seven times each day
I stop and shout praises
Seven times each day
I call on Your Name
Seven times each day
I shower You with love
How my heart sings
Knowing Your Love keeps me going
Knowing I’m still in awe!
I’m still in awe of You
How You work out every detail
For Your Plans never fail
I’m still in awe of You
How You know what I’m thinking
For You know just what I’m needing
Your Light keeps me from stumbling
I’m ecstatic with the gifts You give
They are better than my imagination
Beyond a dream come true
How You do it is Your Secret
For Yours are the only perfect gifts
Seven times each day
I stop and shout praises
Seven times each day
I call on Your Name
Seven times each day
I shower You with love
How my heart sings
Knowing Your Love keeps me going
Knowing I’m still in awe!
I ignore my enemies
I do what You tell me
My soul guards and keeps
Your Instructions
Oh how much I love them!
I follow Your Directions
I abide by Your Counsel
My life is an open book before You
And each and every day
Expectantly, I wait for Your Salvation
Knowing You will answer
And I’m still in awe!
Seven times each day
I stop and shout praises
Seven times each day
I call on Your Name
Seven times each day
I shower You with love
How my heart sings
Knowing Your Love keeps me going
Knowing I’m still in awe!
I’m still in awe!
I’m still in awe!
Each and every day
You reveal Yourself to me
And I’m still in awe!
“I’ve been slandered unmercifully by the politicians, but my awe at your words keeps me stable. I’m ecstatic over what you say, like one who strikes it rich. I hate lies—can’t stand them!— but I love what you have revealed. Seven times each day I stop and shout praises for the way you keep everything running right. For those who love what you reveal, everything fits— no stumbling around in the dark for them. I wait expectantly for your salvation; God, I do what you tell me. My soul guards and keeps all your instructions— oh, how much I love them! I follow your directions, abide by your counsel; my life’s an open book before you.” Psalm 119:165

“O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger. When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!” Psalm 8:1-9
“Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?” Exodus 15:11
“God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”” Exodus 3:14
