Increase Your Discernment!
Joshua was an extremely successful soldier and leader for God. However, he had discernment issues.
Once, he confronted an Angel and asked whose side he was on.
Another time, men from Gibeon came to Joshua and pretended to be ambassadors of a very poor nation.
They had old and torn clothing, broken sandals, and dry and moldy bread. They asked Joshua for a covenant of peace and he said yes.
Joshua was supposed to take them out, but instead he was deceived.
We have all been there.
So here are three (3) things The LORD led me to in order to increase our discernment.
1) Repent
There has been a time in all of our lives where we have been in the wrong relationship with someone.
It could have been a business, romantic, friendship, family relationship, or other — but we ended up hurt because the relationship was bad.
Jesus wants us to repent for we entered into that relationship without His help and guidance.
2) Ask Jesus
Jesus wants us to ask Him who needs to stay in our lives and who needs to go.
Some people may be a wolf in sheep’s clothing and you do not know it.
Ask Jesus to open up your eyes for He will show you the people who are good for you and others who only appear to be good for you.
If you ask Jesus, He will do it.
3) Submit to God
Submit to Jesus for this will help you in your future relationships as Jesus will show you quicker who to be with and who not to be with.
Jesus says: “They will have greater discernment for I will show them.”
Submit to Jesus and He will show you the next time someone comes into your life.
The Holy Spirit says: “I want to help you My People. For I will show you what to do, who to be with, and who to stay away from.
I’ll give you The Keys of Wisdom, so you can see for yourselves.
You will see the snakes in the grass and the sheep by the river.
You will know what to do for your discernment will come from Me.
Submit to Me, My People — for I love you dearly.”

Thank you sir.
Travis –
Greetings. Your posts are lifegiving. Often the shortest and to-the-point messages the Lord gives His people are the most impactful.
You convey what the Lord gives you with wisdom and instruction – the way a teacher writes on the blackboard for his young students.
The Lord’s lessons are best remembered and followed when it’s kept simple. Must be the reason the Lord taught often in parables: short & to the point. Sticks in our memory bank. The Lord doesn’t complicate things – as much as His people do.
Ps: I know I’m ‘time-dating’ myself as teachers rarely use real chalk and blackboard anymore – its all Chrome books & digital now.
Thank you, thank you thank you thank you thank you!
Travis, thank you. This is so important for His Beloveds to be with the right people.
