It’s time to come to The LORD in humility saying, “LORD, I’ve done it my way for too long. Now I turn to you and your way!”

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and SEEK MY FACE, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 Emphasis mine.

Everyone’s favourite verse, especially in these end times, is 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Almost everyone can quote it verbatim, but I wonder if many have realised the emphasis is not on repenting and turning from their wicked ways, but on SEEKING GODS FACE.

Of course, humbling themselves, praying, and repenting are all ingredients of revival, but the main ingredient is to be in seeking God’s face.

God’s hand is with us and on us at all times because whatever He asks of us, He provides for.

So seeking His hand is a little bit superfluous. It’s in SEEKING HIS FACE that the real blessings come.

IF we SEEK HIM, then repent and turn from our sin, THEN He will HEAR us, FORGIVE us, and send REVIVAL (HEAL our land).

God’s Promises are nearly all like that – “IF you …. THEN I ….”

I call this the Praise and Reward Training School of God.

Once we actually learn the principle, then the reward is easier to receive — except, of course, our motives have to line up too — but that’s another lesson altogether.

“I cannot make it plainer,” says The LORD, “Even My Word says plainly that all I require of you is to seek My Face.

Let Me make it very simple for you. If you seek My Face, Me personally, My kingdom, then My Word promises that “everything else shall be added unto you”.”

“If you seek revival, My hand, then you waste time – yours and Mine.” Matthew 6:33.

It’s so simple, yet so difficult for us to do, but with everything getting darker and darker, that difficult choice becomes somehow easier to make.

It just comes down to this — whose will, whose plans, whose promises do you want most for yourself and your family, God’s or yours?

And YES — the choice really is yours!

I know what my choice is!
