I shared two posts a few years ago and feel to put them together for now as it is a powerful weapon.

Jesus once said to me to “Jump over yourself!” ( JOY).

I was in a place of thinking of my own circumstances and forgetting to focus on Him and His wonderful Oil of Joy and Gladness. I quickly changed my mind.

I also shared one experience that testifies of The Power of Joy.

I was driving home from work and full of The Spirit as I was listening to worship music in the car.

I got petrol [gas] at Great Dunmow Filling Station and joined the queue. There were three people in front of me and a few on the other side were being served.

There was a tall man behind me and I heard the man being served at the desk ask for a lighter.

As he said this, the man behind me said “Why don’t you just set fire to the whole f……….. place!”

I had no fear, as I was still full of The Spirit of God. I turned and smiled and said he could go in front of me as I wasn’t in a hurry.

I felt love toward him and I sensed he was simply angry.

He looked at me and said “You must be having a good day!” in a sarcastic tone, I smiled and found myself say, “How can I not be, everyday is a good day with Jesus!”

I saw a momentary flash of pure hatred or fear in his eyes, but he wouldn’t go in front.

Suddenly, everyone in the shop began to laugh and smile. It was surreal! It was like an atmosphere of pure Love and Joy took over. It was like a party!

I got to the counter and the lady said, “I’d like a bit of what you’ve got”

I simply said, “It’s Jesus! I have Jesus and he’s yours if you want Him!” and left.

We must never doubt the power of God and His Spirit works miracles! Hallelujah!

These are just a few scriptures on The Joy of The LORD, and I believe The Holy Spirit spoke to me tonight on this powerful Weapon of Joy! Yes – A Weapon that it brings protection, fullness in faith, promises and hope abound with richness that spills over, joy is infectious and spreads like fire, it burns up sickness, throws out darkness, fulfills in peace, manages and calms the waves of fear and anxiety, pulls up strongholds and carries away back breaking burden.

And how to find this Joy?

Praise brings Joy — and no matter what it ‘feels’ like, how one ‘feels’, disturb the mind to go against ‘feelings’ and Joy will be your portion! Selah

“These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11.

“Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:8-9.

“Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place.” 1 Chronicles 16:27.

“But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you.” Psalm 5:11.

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11.

“The Jews had light and gladness and joy and honor.” Esther 8:16.
