Living From the Heart of The LORD!

The LORD has been taking me back to some experiences I have had regarding the Heart and He said to me, “Daughter, as you have looked back at your past experiences and counseling training, always remember I allowed you to be open and broken so you would one day realize, you were not broken — but you were breaking through!”
As I was going through some old files, I found this paragraph by “Author unknown” and I was absolutely stunned.
This is what it said……
“When life breaks you, it is because you are ready to be put back together differently.
Every piece of you that feels shattered is a piece that will find a new place, a new purpose, a new meaning.
Trust that the cracks are where the light gets in. And sometimes, in our brokenness, we find our greatest wholeness.
We find the courage to rebuild, to reimagine, to redefine what it means to be strong.
You are not broken, you are breaking through.”
There are times in our life when we painful experiences.
We just feel shattered to the point that you wonder if you can ever put the pieces back together.
Spiritual Warfare seems more exhausting when it erupts unexpectedly with those you thought you knew…. or should I say, those you thought knew you or knew your heart. It just takes the wind out of your sails!
Can anyone relate to that kind of pain?
Again, at times like this, I often recall what Oswald Chambers, in his book, “My Utmost for His Highest“, says that God take us up on the mountain tops to give us the vision.
But it is never on the peaks that the visions become realities — it is always in the valleys where God shapes us and makes the Vision become reality, it we don’t give way.
So, at first when we experience those painful experiences, we must hold tight to the Vision.
It is the worst kind of pain when it comes like a knife in your heart.
I can still remember an experience years ago with a lady who said something to me that I will never forget and I did not understand at the time.
But after I had gotten to know her pretty well, she said to me one day, “You know you’re not anything like I thought you were. You have one of the kindest loving hearts I have ever known.”
So when someone hurts me like I have been hurt in recent times of chaos, The LORD always brings that to mind.
We must not ever form an opinion by outward appearances, or judge another from our own ideas or perspectives.
Beloved, God always comes back with a kindness bandage. We must do that as well.
Keep your Love on!
I keep hearing, moment by moment in these changing times, “Have you learned to love yet?”
So, keep your Love in place! Let it flow out of a guarded heart and all the issues will vanish.
So when the thief comes in the night and you aren’t sure how he got in — stop and examine your heart!
Many times, the thief just creeps in and hits you blindsided unexpectedly.
I often ask The LORD when that happens, “Did You not tell the enemy that when I prayed and repented, that You cleansed my heart and forgave me?”
Can’t you almost feel Him smile through eyes of deep understanding?
As I told one lady earlier today, we must be very careful not to be the accuser of the brethren,* when we point our finger in judgment, it will come back to us.
After many encounters with The LORD regarding this, I have come to understand that many times when we are so adamant about not agreeing with someone, we are allowing a judgmental spirit to enter into our flesh!
Lately I have had many contacts asking for Prayer who are experiencing betrayal or rejection in relationships and they are totally overwhelmed.
It is sometimes hard to accept that you can’t put new wine in old wine skins** and when people are determined to see the speck in your eye but can’t see the plank in their own eye?***
You must stop and have a little talk with Jesus before you respond.
Sometimes we need to understand that The LORD is closing the door, because that person is not going where He is taking us — and sometimes we just need to be open to the new door and divine connection that is awaiting us “just around the corner!”
There is a time and season for everything, and we must be very careful not to judge another when we are seeing from our own prospective based on how we have judged their heart (that we cannot see).
And at other times, we have let the voice of our soul take over through our emotions.
It is very important to know the Times and Season that we are now in.
The judgmental attitudes are abounding and the spirit of deception and competition are a trap that is causing many to lose their identity and love for truth.
Beloved, I know this is not the first time you have heard me tell this conversation with The LORD — but here it is!
God always says to me, “Daughter, you love them and I will Judge them!”
Don’t let your discernment cross over into judgment.
I am more determined than ever to continue my journey to guard my heart with all diligence (because I don’t know my own heart) and I am determined to learn the difference in guarding it or keeping it and putting walls up to protect it.
Take care to remember that the very area that you are gifted in or the area The LORD has revealed to you as your purpose is the very area the enemy will attack the hardest.
But — blessed is the man who perseveres under trail, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. (James 1:12).
*“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:9-11 emphasis added.
**“Then He spoke a parable to them: “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ”” Luke 5:36-39.
***“And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:3-5.

I truly agree and its very easy to walk in judgement if were not careful. Remember the bracelets What Would Jesus Do…WWJD? I ordered a couple of fancier ones from Amazon to wear so even at my house or in public when someone says something I will see it and say WWJD and it reverts my thinking back to Christ to walk in His love. Hugs Pam.
Pam, What an original and really great idea!! What a great reminder to change what you say..and even more what you are thinking. I might have to embrace that!! What a great gift as well!! xoxo Hugs, Sandi
Dear Sandi,
Thank you for this deep wisdom-filled post. I can relate and understand especially when you say this:
But it is never on the peaks that the visions become realities — it is always in the valleys where God shapes us and makes the Vision become reality, it we don’t give way. So, at first when we experience those painful experiences, we must hold tight to the Vision.
So true! And trust Him that all things will work together for good! I too do not trust/know my own heart so much so that I defer to Him and the only thing I want is to do His Will.
Gabrielle
Gabrielle, thanks so much for your comment. It is so true, we all experience these truths and what I love is the ground is level at the foot of the cross. We all have the same opportunity and choice! First as an act of our will, (even if our feelings are not ‘THERE’ yet, as we make the choice and move forward, the Lord makes it a reality in ways that our spirit is ruling our feelings and we do not fall into the trap of judging. God’s richest blessings to you, sweet friend. In His love, Sandi
Amen, when it is a close family member…a prodigal…
how comforting to have Jesus at our side who took even the most crucial betrayal upon Himself so we can forgive 77×7 times❤️
Eva, it is so painful when it is a close famil member but as you so well stated, we have Jesus at our side and leading the way by His example on the cross when He said, Father forgive them for they know not what they do. Thanks for sharing your comment. In His love, Sandi
Thank you Sandi:
I have never heard this statement before and what a good warning it is.
“Don’t let your discernment cross over into judgment.”
Such an easy trap to fall into. Over the years I have asked to be emptied of self and to be filled with the Lord. I have come to realize that in that process we have to be on guard as the enemy is constantly trying to fill us back up with that old self we thought we got rid of.
Thank you for you constant words of wisdom and the heart of the Lord.
Ah Yes, dear Robert, letting discernment cross over into judgment is a true trap the enemy sets! It seems all of us are always in that same PROCESS of letting spirit rule over flesh, letting the spirit of truth join hands with true discernment to give us double understanding as we agree with His word. Thank you for your friendship and kind word regarding wisdom. It is my life’s desire to hear and send the words from the heart of the Lord. In His love, Sandi
