Looking at the Ministry of Reconciliation Again!
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” Matthew 5:9.
Good morning.
Today will be different to say the least. I will be sharing different articles on relationship issues.
Am I an expert? Absolutely not, but I do try to live The Gospel that I so love to write about.
Each one hopefully will give us some clear insight and build on the other.
‘Excerpt‘ from above link of Seven main points that I felt to share:
#1 See good qualities in people, and bring these points out while talking to the ones with oppositional views.#2 Try to see if misunderstandings can be properly dealt with.#3 Look for ways to heal and not bring further divisions in a conflict situation where people are at odds.Never stir! Listening to much of ‘he said, she said’ does not get us anywhere.
#4 Listen well, let them know you are really hearing them.
#5 Stay focused and don’t get swayed by the ones who want you to take their side.
Never do it, the side taking! Still, stand for what is right always. Stand for truth but always apply mercy in any given situation.
#6 Cut to the chase, as they say.
The bottom line should be getting to a peaceful resolution.
Could it just mean, the pure in heart will see God as He truly is, Righteous and Holy?
When we see the truth in any situation of what is going on spiritually, we must still apply much ‘mercy’.
Remember, our Father in heaven has sure been merciful to us!
The Word of God says,
“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18
#7 Don’t forget to pray with and for the ones in the conflicts.
They must know repentance is most important and forgiving one another!
Let’s Dig our wells deep. Then let that living water flow out of us. It will bring much needed life to others!

Getting back today: We need to speak words of kindness when talking to people.
It is a hurting world. What spirit are we of?
We could unintenionally hurt, damage or offend a person in the name of Jesus Christ.
God forbid that our Words might have the opposite effect of our actual intent!
Sometimes we may feel to sever or pull back from a close knit relationship.
First re-examine and make sure it is God speaking to do so?
Then it is important to check if there may have been some misunderstandings and work through them?
Then and only then, proceed most carefully in the love of the Lord.
Summing up today:
- We must walk in peace as much as possible with all men.
- Always forgive quickly and from the very heart.
- Never let any bitterness take a root in us.
God bless you all.
“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18.
“Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;” Hebrews 12:15.
