No more formulas, only childlike faith will do!

Have you ever had one of your children try to work you to get something they want? It may be cute when they are young but soon when they are a bit more grown up it becomes manipulation!

After a while instead of looking the other way because of their age, it begins to aggravate you because you know there manipulating you and not sincere in heart.

Well, the Lord showed me a long time ago that this is the way He feels about all of our so called “Formulas” to get his attention. After a while our heart becomes hardened and we think by doing our formula that we can get him to act on our behalf but He told me to tell you tonight that what he is looking for is true childlike faith and trust in Him.

He knows when He is being “worked” so it is time to give it up and go back to your first love! That will take humility Selah…….

“And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips but remove their hearts and minds far from Me, and their fear and reverence for Me are a commandment of men that is learned by repetition [without any thought as to the meaning],” Isaiah 29:13 (AMPC).

My Prayer for the Prophets today

Prophets, I am praying for all of you today that we will have pure motives in prophesying right now. I pray that it will not be to build up our own ministries.

I pray that we will not fear men but speak what He is saying to speak.

I pray that our motive will always be Love and compassion for those who are perishing. To build up and edify the body of Christ and bring warning to those who are going in a wrong direction.

I pray that we would always hear the voice of our Father and not be persuaded by political correctness. And that God would work mighty miracles through you!
