A serious message of encouragement and warning.

This morning while spending a little time with The LORD, He pointed me to Joshua 1, and the first few verses.

He highlighted some for me as follows –

“Now it came about after the death of Moses the servant of The LORD, that The LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ servant, saying, “Moses My servant is dead; so now arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel. Every place on which the sole of your foot steps, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses…….
……. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for The LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:1-3,9 NASB

The first thing to strike me was the command to “cross THIS Jordan”, almost as if there were many Jordan’s to cross.

What an odd way of phrasing it — ‘this’ Jordan!

So I took it to The LORD saying, “There’s obviously more to this passage this morning, but I’m missing it. What am I missing please?”

The LORD, I believe, led me by His Holy Spirit into this Word.

The Church, the real Church, has been wandering around the desert for too long. It’s time to come together in unity to be the Church Christ meant her to be — the church Christ died for.

A new ‘Promised Land’ awaits her if she will only follow His leading.

Its time to ‘Cross the Jordan’ once again, and enter into the promised land of power and joy, to serve The LORD as He wants us to serve, not as we have in the past — entirely to our own satisfaction rather than Gods satisfaction!

I asked The LORD, “What lies ahead for her?”

He replied, “My Prophets have been trying to tell the Church this, but the Church has silenced them.

Healing — ‘they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed’. The lame shall walk, the deaf shall hear, the blind shall see. Even the dead shall be raised to life to the Glory of God.

Deliverance — ‘they shall cast out demons of all kinds’ because I give you authority and dominion over Satan and all his hordes. In fact the demons shall flee before My Church.

Recruitment!

Recruitment?

“My Church is an army! Evangelism success on a scale never seen before.

People are now desperate for light and hope — all they can see is darkness and despair.

They will flock to hear My Message of hope and salvation as never before. Many will receive Me one day, and go out preaching repentance and salvation the next day!

Such will be their joy at receiving their own salvation!”

I said, “This is all wonderful LORD. What barriers or giants will your people face?”

“The immediate barrier they will face is traditional religion and the wrath of the Pharisees!

You have seen this in times past when the Church persecuted their brothers and sisters over a single verse, rather than taking the whole canon of scripture.

Then, My People will face the legalistic religion of the PC [politically correct] Brigade — those who claim there are many ways to God, or those who claim that certain things are acceptable because Jesus ‘would condone, even encourage it’!

No He won’t! If it’s scripturally abhorrent to The LORD, He will not accept it! He will forgive a change of heart, but not those who continue in the sin!

Then there are the giants of apathy, lethargy, and unbelief within the present Church system.

These will refuse to change their ways, or their beliefs, and will actively oppose you, accusing you of all kinds of sin, blasphemy, and heresy.

Then, there will be those very vocal groups, such as LGBTQ who will hate you and persecute you in order to promote their own evil agenda.

The WEF, with all its power and money, will try to silence you — and the power hungry world systems, such as pharma, banking, high tech, and education will be your enemy too.”

So I asked The LORD, “How are we to move forward?”

His answer was as profound as it was simple — “Allow Holy Spirit to lead you! This will mean complete surrender to Me.

It will require the relinquishing if self — ‘if a seed does not die and fall to the ground, how can it produce its harvest of thirty, sixty, or a hundred fold return’?”

Church, God is in control, always has been, always will be.

Are we ready to cross the Jordan once more?

Are we ready to possess the land God has prepared for us. I know I am ready, and I believe many of you are ready too!
