Passover Is About “The Blood”
Passover is about “The Blood”!
The people in Egypt who waited in the night for the day to come when they could walk out of Egypt…..
Waited not just as an example of walking out on the world.
Waited not just to follow mises to lead them out….
Waited not just to be free…
But they waited while “Under the blood” on the doorpost. That blood over each door was pointing toward the day when Jesus Christ would die for the sins of the whole world and men would be finally set free by…
His Blood, which was shed on Calvary.
Men talk about a shepherd or one who came to lead them..
This Blood talks about being forgiven forever of sin and set free from the condemnation of the law.
The Passover is then about … When God sees your sin [which was placed upon Jesus Christ] and when God sees “Jesus’ Blood!
You are forever forgiven.
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.” Romans 5:6-11.
