“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God,” Hebrews 12:1-2.
“I have asked you, My Children, to persevere, for you must persevere unto the end.
For a runner would run a race, and yet he would pace himself so that he could go unto the end. But run and continue in the race, ignoring all the obstacles around you, for there are many distractions.
Set your mind like flint and be steady, knowing that nothing will move you. A true athlete has prepared their body.
They have trained it so that it can endure hardship. You must endure hardship in the days ahead, for it will be a test to see what you will be able to endure.
All of the training that you have done until this minute has been mild compared to what is coming. For the roads ahead will test you in ways that might seem impossible, and yet all things are possible with Me.
Many will give up and lose their courage, but you must not be like them. For consider the things that I had to go through; consider the cross.
I AM your example that has been set before you. And so, when the great trials that come, know that I have gone before you.“
