“Play Time is Over — It’s time to be Shining People!”

Odd thing to hear isn’t it?

I knew The LORD was telling me, maybe about to show me something, so I waited on Him.

He said, “The Church has, for too long, ‘played’ at being ‘Church!’

She has portrayed herself as a caring nurse tending the wounds of an injured world, and perhaps she has been exactly that to an extent.

But, like the Laodiceans, she waxes hot and cold to a different extent.

WAKE UP CHURCH!

You cannot have a heart of kindness one minute and a heart of indifference the next minute!

You are like a ‘double minded man’, blown every which way by the winds of public opinion!”

He let that settle in my heart for a few moments, before adding this rather pointed comment.

“The Church too often ‘plays’ at good guy/bad guy, usually depending, psychologically, upon where the best public perception and reaction lies!”

I sat in silence for a few moments digesting this before finally asking, “I can’t argue, LORD, so what do you want me to say?”

“I AM sending a Sign that will tell everyone where My Presence dwells!

For that sign to manifest, My Church will need to heed Psalm 22:3 — ‘Yet You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Your people, Israel!’”

I knew by Revelation what was meant here, as The LORD brought to mind a couple of examples:

• Moses shone after being with The LORD on Mount Sinai.
• Stephen reflected the shining glory of heaven as they stoned him.
• The Shining People of Uganda who, when persecuted, climbed the mountains in order to worship and were shining with His presence when they returned.
• Jesse Duplantis had an experience of heaven which made him shine with God’s Presence.

Even I, after receiving my Holy Spirit baptism complete with tongues, apparently was shining with the presence of God

I considered all these for a moment, then The LORD spoke once again,

“It’s time for My People, who are called by My Name, to so dwell in My Presence through their Praise and Worship that they too shall shine with My Presence!

I will be seeking My ‘Shining People’ through whom to channel My Glory and revival!”

C’mon Church! — Seek and host His Presence!

Let God’s Presence shine on you!

Be God’s Shining People!

Let the world watch, wonder, and be envious to seek His Presence too!
