I’m not feeling particularly prophetic tonight, yet I feel The Holy Spirit close by, urging me to write.

I’ve fought shy of politics for a while — there’s enough doom and gloom around without me adding my ten cents worth.

I’m writing this real-time, as The Spirit prompts me. No filter — just raw, as it comes.

That’s the word The LORD wants to emphasise tonight — RAW!

Everyone knows there is a great outpouring from The Holy Spirit coming, and it’s going to upset a few, especially those who want to tamp it down, keep it ‘decent and in order’.

It’s not going to be like that — not at all.

It’s going to be RAW.

As in a lions roar, which comes from deep within him, this roar will touch a few nerves.

It will scare some away, but they’ll soon run back to it. It will dispense with the niceties of organised Church, even many organised and sort of controlled ‘Pentecostal’ Churches.

It will be RAW as in ‘rubbing folk up the wrong way’.

It will challenge every status quo.

It will draw the last, the least, and the lost to meetings.

A few years ago, a leader of a well known Pentecostal Church said to me, “But do we really want people like that in our Church?”

The Holy Spirit says, “Yes, Welcome all who come — addicts, homeless, unemployed, unmarried parents with unruly kids — all really are not only Welcome — but I have Plans for every one who comes!”

I saw something in The Spirit, a very long time ago, probably thirty or more years or so, I saw the last, least, and lost drawn into meetings without a clue why they wanted to go in — they just had an irresistible urge to find out what was happening there.

As these lost souls stepped over the threshold, they were knocked down by The Power of Holy Spirit; they were healed of addictions, ill health, whatever was wrong; and they were instantly saved and delivered of demons!

All this instantly as they came into The Presence of The LORD.

It was messy!

It was noisy!

It was gutsy!

It was RAW!

The Holy Spirit is so close, so heavy as I write this.

This is beginning to happen even as I write.

Street evangelists are getting disillusioned kids saved and receiving a new purpose in their life.

Evangelists are healing and delivering folk on the streets, in the shops, anywhere people gather.

God is beginning to move. He is pouring out His Spirit on dry land. Salvation is in the air!

Hunger for God is being fulfilled.

Open your eyes!

Put aside your preconceptions of Revival!

This is different!

The Lion of The Tribe of Judah is loose! This is going to be very RAW!! \0/
