I heard The LORD say, “The Race is not given to the swift!”

“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV)

“I choose People for My Glory.

Some wonder why I would choose a lame king or a blind pilot.

Legs and eyes are not the only things needed to run a race.

Understand My eyes children and how I look at things.”

“For the eyes of The LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.” 2 Chronicles 16:9 (KJV)

“Children remember your Faith Lessons!

Do you believe the current condition of a person can change?

I hear so many prayers asking Me to change things.”

“Many have legs but they refuse to run.

People have eyes yet refuse to see.

My instructions are to listen and learn.

If I tell you not to go back the same way you came then follow that plan.

If I tell you to run, then don’t walk.

So many are saying, “Don’t run!”

Who is saying, “Run Forrest!”?

Children it is crucial that you listen in this hour.

It is critical that you obey!”

“If a man trusts Me — he will keep My sayings!”

“Stop running backwards — say these things,

A Song of degrees.
“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from The LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:1-4 (KJV)

The lame king with no legs made it into Heaven.

He didn’t walk — he “Ran!”

The blind pilot brought a flight of people to Heaven.

Children your race may not be easy.

Where you focus on speed — I focus on accuracy.

Focus on staying in The Race!”

“And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: but I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” 1 Corinthians 9:25-27 (KJV)

“To him that endures to the end, it is to him that I reward.

Be faithful over a few things and I will make you ruler over many.

Run the race that I give.

Live the life that I choose.

Soon your race shall be over.

My Thoughts

When we read I John 1:9, the goal is not for Christians to willfully commit sin — then ask God for forgiveness. The Father expects His children to continually work in faith.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 (KJV)

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 (KJV)

“Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” James 2:18 (KJV)

The LORD is asking us to follow these scriptures to ensure running a successful race.

Stop running backwards. Run Forrest!

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (KJV)

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5 (KJV)
