Season of Fiery Trials and Birthing Pangs
I was in Prayer earlier and The Holy Spirit began to speak.
The Fiery Trials that have come to try many of us is not to destroy us but rather to forge us.
Many of us are arrows in the hand of The LORD, weapons, God’s Battleaxes, threshing instruments!
Some of us are being purified in the Fire. Some old ways of thinking, and doing things have to go.
We are being purge, being made vessels of honor worthy to carry the manifest glory of God, His Kabod.
He will not send out gifted rebels and rogues….
An effective weapon, an arrow must go through intense heat and shaping!
This means the trials, hardships, and testing are there to refine our character, faith, and obedience to God.
“He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver.” Malachi 3:3.
Arrows are designed to hit a specific target.
God shapes us to fulfill His divine assignments.
“Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.” Psalm 127:4.
This verse shows us that arrows must be carefully prepared, straightened, and sharpened before they can be used effectively.
God, as the Diving Archer, knows where to send us and when to release us.
Sometimes we feel like we are being pulled back (delays, struggles), but that tension is necessary for a powerful launch.
“He made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in His quiver.” Isaiah 49:2.
God has been preparing many of us in hidden seasons before launching into our calling. Hallelujah!
It is a season of Transition and Divine Breakthrough for many of us and so some of us are going through birthing pangs getting ready to bring forth that which The LORD has deposited in us.
Just as labor pains precede the birth of new life, spiritual birthing pangs indicate that a major shift is about to happen — whether in ministry, personal growth, or a new calling — it often feels painful, exhausting, and overwhelming, but it’s a sign that something greater is coming. even promise fulfillment and restoration.
Trials and challenges in this season are Refining and Preparing us for the next level.
Like a mother in labor, the discomfort is necessary to bring forth what God has conceived in the spirit.
Isaiah 66 declares,
“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith The LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God,” Isaiah 66:8-9.
“A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.” John 16:21.
There is always Spiritual Warfare and Resistance before the Promise!
The earth groans! Even so the earth is experiencing birthing pangs.
We are experiencing increasing turmoil and distress leading up to Christ’s return just as spoken in Romans 8:22 and Matthew 24:7-8.
“We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.” Romans 8:22.
This passage of scripture reveals that all of creation is longing for restoration.
The natural disasters, environmental changes, and increasing global unrest are like contractions, signaling that God’s plan is unfolding.
“Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.” Matthew 24:7-8.
Jesus described wars, natural disasters, and famines as birth pains, meaning they would increase in frequency and intensity before His return.
Like labor contractions, global crises seem to be happening more frequently and with greater impact:
- Earthquakes, hurricanes, and extreme weather patterns.
- Wars, violence, and political instability.
- Moral decline and spiritual deception.
- Famine, disease, and economic distress.
What does all this mean for us as believers? God’s Kingdom is near!
These signs remind us that Jesus Christ is coming soon and that God’s plan for a new heaven and earth is in motion (Revelation 21:1)
This is a Call to Repentance!
Just as labor pains urge a mother to prepare for birth, these global events are a wake-up call for people to turn to God.
Hope in Christ!
While the world is in turmoil, believers can have peace knowing that God is in control and has promised us a glorious future….
Be prepared! Be encouraged!!

Dear Brother Norman, Be encouraged! Be strong! I can really feel you pain and agony only because I have been through it, still going through it and in it ongoing. Spiritual war is ongoing especially when we obey God. Any if we are going through these things, we must count it all joy, because we are on the right path. I have walked this discomfort path for over forty years and each time I am at breaking point, God always shows up on the 11th hr. Yesterday my soul was again at that agonizing, crying out posture as I am waiting on The Lord, this time for 14 years. This word resonate with me as well but I got up with these words in my spirit… We will triumph and overcome all.. Cause Light cannot be defeated.. Jesus defeated all. And we are more than conquerers. We must rise up like eagles! Jesus is our Savior! Thank you all for the words of encouragement to brother Norman. We cannot quit having come thus far. God going to see us all through.Need prayer, don’t hesitate to email. Help is always on its way by our God. Amazing how being in a wilderness, we are able to minister and pray for others and in that season of our lives, we discover the hidden mysteries of obedience. Just in awe of who God is. I encourage you brother Norman to just lean on God, His Word and The Holy Spirit will carry you through giving you inner peace to sustain you, strength and may God’s Love surround you as you rest in HIM! Sharing my testimony was just to give you hope knowing all things are in God’s control. God is all Knowing! Be blessed brother and all our brothers and sisters in Christ. Praise God, in Jesus Christ our Blessed Savior and Hope! God bless you, dear sister in Christ! I extend peace and greetings to you. This is a powerful word, personally for me, as the trials have been fiery, the testing of patience, holiness, as the raging storms hit from every side. When we as believers in Jesus Christ, are truly pressing in on the narrow path, desiring to walk it out in complete submission unto God – the demonic oppositions are there to oppose, but as you’ve mentioned that these trials are to purge and purify us in/through the Holy Spirit.
God is always good, even when tge pressure is on, he is yet worthy of all the honor, glory and praise. I thank you, for sharing. Some cannot relate, as few actually walk on the narrow path, because of its challenges, but truly walking on the straight and narrow path, will bring hardships, chaos, turbulence, etc, but it’s worth it, if God is using for our good.

Brother Norman, I pray the loving kindness and multitude of God’s tender mercies shall envelope you and all yours in Jesus name.
Yes, spiritual battles can be so so tough and draining but with Jesus Christ, you will prevail. May God use all the fiery trials (Red Sea) confronting you as His raw Materials for His Testimonies unpon your life for your naysayers /mockers to see and fear your God.

Hello, extending peace and greetings to you, dearly beloved soldier in Christ! I truly appreciate the prayers and kind words, the Lord was listening to my heart, as in the midst the heat and intensity of spiritual warfare – I quietly said within my heart yesterday, saying God, I love the souls, with great compassion, alwsys desiring to pray for them, but would rarely hear in a long time by fellow believers, that I’m praying for you.
This means so much to me, as I’m a quiet sufferer, who is in the fire, but humbly quiet behind the scene. I kindly thank you, for those godly uplifting words. Peace and blessings!

Dear brother Norman I pray for you in Jesus name that you will experience the Shalom of God that passes all understanding. That even in the midst of testing and trials your heart will never be troubled. I pray that the joy of Adonai will be your strength. That Jehovah Jireh will manifest as your Provider and more importantly that Your faith in Yahweh will not faint
