Something Unusual — for me!

Written last night and this morning 14/15 January 2026

My spiritual aerial twitched tonight!

It doesn’t do it often, but tonight it did.

I inquired of The LORD, and I immediately sensed an alarm going off. A bit like those old war films have air-raid sirens.

All I heard from The LORD was, “Something unusual is in the air!”

That could be anything, so I pressed in and sensed, “Something in the political arena is going on! It’s something big: something serious!”

All my senses were at the alarm stage by now as I thought about what’s happening around the world.

My thoughts homed in on Iran!

I’m seeing terrible scenes of war in Iran!

It’s like the whole situation has ignited a powder keg called the Middle East!

Shi-ites and Sunni’s at war with each other across the whole region. Israel seems to be taking a purely self defensive role, allowing those fighting to sort it out amongst themselves, although I’m sure they won’t turn down an opportunity should it arise.

The LORD is revealing this a bit at a time — almost as if to ease our way into events now and to come.

The evil is palpable. I can see it and almost touch it!

I see scenes that are almost too graphic to detail. The ‘old guard’ is not surrendering power easily.

I see rows of gallows, ten at a time, on which both men and women are being hung as a warning to dissenters.

There is smoke and explosions everywhere, yet I also see signs of peace even among the debris of war!

I see people helping people out of humanitarian compassion regardless of who’s on which side.

I see what I sense to be angels leading rescuers to trapped women and children in the rubble.

I find myself moved to tears at the innate kindness of people in a war zone.

This is when I hear The Holy Spirit call for intercessors to wage spiritual warfare against what is happening; for peace among The Nations; and for the restoration of the Iranian people.

All this has come to me over the last 48 hours, and there is probably more to come, but I feel able to release this for weighing and intercession.

There is more involving American roles — but I’m not released to post that yet.

I will say more as I am released to do so.
