“Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace!”
Sometimes we hear those words at a marriage ceremony.
Still I would like to bring those very words out in another light today.
The marriage ceremony is a sacred commitment.
In some ceremony’s an opportunity is given for anyone with just cause to speak up why a couple should not be married?
It can then be stopped if one or the other of the couple decide to not go through with the marriage.
What about us being the bride of Christ?
We need to stay married to Jesus!
Jesus should be and stay our first love!
Also He should stay our forever love and us put Him first in all things.
Here is a song, “I’m Never Going Back”
It is our chose to serve and walk with The LORD.
If God be God we should serve Him!
“And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if The LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” 1 Kings 18:21
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve The LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve The LORD.” Joshua 24:15
I choose to never go back, how about you?
“But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?” Galatians 4:9
“Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.” John 6:68
“I and my Father are one.” John 10:30
“And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.” John 20:28
“Jesus said unto them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.”” John 8:58
God bless you all.
