Stubborn Resistance
“Is not My word like fire [that consumes all that cannot endure the test]? says The LORD, and like a hammer that breaks in pieces the rock [of most stubborn resistance]?” Jeremiah 23:29 AMPC.
Dear Ones: Stubborn Resistance!
This brings to mind a colloquial expression: “beating my head against a rock”.
AI explains it this way.
“The phrase ‘beating your head against a rock’ is used metaphorically, similar to the idiom ‘beating your head against a wall,’ which means to attempt something repeatedly but fruitlessly.”
That is what the enemy wants us to believe when our spiritual warfare is protracted. But he is a liar.
The stubborn resistance that rises up against us, especially in our prayer time, is rooted in the evil one’s fear.
He fears that we will rise up in the power of Christ’s victory and break his attack completely like a hammer.
Our vigilance in opposing his demonic assaults only serves to strengthen our faith. Therefore, in truth, his resistance brings us closer to the Master as we become more like him.
The Word of God, our Sword, is our weapon of choice. The stubborn resistance of the enemy’s attack cannot withstand the power of His Word.
Like a mighty hammer, it will crush the head of every weapon the evil one throws our way.
As we accumulate one victory after another, the stubbornness of the enemy gives way to the complete surrender as he flees in terror.
Declare:
“Today, I bring the hammer of the Word of God against the stubborn resistance of that which is challenging me.
I am an overcomer; I will not grow weary but shall prevail in this matter.
The consuming fire of His word is burning down every wall of resistance.
Praise The LORD for the victory!”
Have a victorious day in Jesus’ Name.

So True, our Faith will be strengthened which brings us closer to the Lord. Amen!
Yes, and Amen!!!
