“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works,” Revelation 20:12.
“What will be said about your life when you come to meet Me? Will I be able to say, ‘Well done my good and faithful servant?’
Will you have had a heart that was driven towards me? Will you have been one that looked after the needs of the poor? Will you have been driven by your own desires or mine? Will you have taken the narrow road ahead, or will you have taken the wide road to destruction?
You see, your life is a book; and it will speak volumes on that day. The books will be opened on that day. And many will wonder at the things that they have done, and that they have left undone.
I have given you many choices in this life, and many of your choices are not mine, says the Lord. You are covered by the blood of my Son, and your short-comings are forgiven. But your lives will be viewed as a panorama, as a movie that is projected.
May your lives be pleasing to me. May they shine forth as the noon-day sun. For some will not inherit eternal life. Theirs will be the dark caverns and the gloomy chambers where the light never penetrates.”
