The Capstone of Our Authority — Anointing for End Time Intercession

This morning The LORD completely surprised me with this, “Wear your Ephod when you pray to Me!”
So before I went any further, I did a little digging about an Ephod.
An Ephod is a breastplate type of apron originally only worn by the chief priest, but later worn by other priests and by kings.
It is a vestment of authority which we, as kings and priests, also now have permission to wear when we come before The LORD.
“So, what’s the ‘thinking’ behind this LORD?”
I asked in this manner because this is completely new to me. It’s new to me but I knew it was of great importance to The LORD.
“It’s time for My Ekklesia to take their rightful place before Me!” said The LORD.
“From My perspective, you have, for the most part, barely scratched the surface of what is available to you, and you have barely used any of your real authority that I’ve already given you!
Originally, only the high priest could enter My Presence, and even then, only once a year.
He wore an Ephod to honour Me and to signify his ‘privilege’ to enter the Holy of Holies. Later, as a sign for you, I allowed other priests and occasionally kings to enter My Presence, but even then, they too wore an Ephod.
Again the Ephod was a ‘badge of authority’ allowing them access.’”
The LORD led me to His Word in 2 Samuel 6,
“Then David danced before The LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen Ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of The LORD with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.” 2 Samuel 6:14-15.
He paused before continuing.
“When My Son gave His life for you, I rent the temple curtain as a sign that you too could come into My Presence — freely and without restriction!
Now, I AM opening a door of Royal Priestly Access to you — but you must spiritually wear an Ephod to do so!”
At this point, The LORD took me to The Book of Revelation,
“Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:5-6
Then The LORD continued.
“Most of you have never before taken your place as kings or priests of the Order of Melchizedek, but the situation in which you find yourselves today cries out, for those with the authority to do so, for you to come before me in the role I always intended for you to have, and to intercede with authority before Me!
Use all that I have already given you, (Ephesians 6:11-19), and ask Me to lay My Ephod, the Capstone of Your Authority, upon you.
Then start making your declarations and decrees before Me!”
Once again The LORD took me to His Word in Job 22,
“You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.” Job 22:28.
For a moment, The LORD laid upon me His Ephod.
I cannot describe the feeling, the weight, the Presence of God in that short moment, but I cried out, like Isaiah before me, “I am not worthy. I am a man of unclean lips!” and The LORD removed it again.
He said, “To whom this is given, I will make worthy and I will make Holy.
It is given to help and guide your prayers and I will have Legions of Angels attentive to the prayers of My intercessors!”
I am once more amazed that The LORD would use me for such a message in this season.
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [a]wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints — and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,” Ephesians 6:11-19.

~ Chris G. Bennett
Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.

Kedves Chris Bennet én is bizonyságot teszek hogy Melkisédek rendje szerinti egyik felkent, felszentelt, papja vagyok Isten kegyeméből.minden dicsőség az Jehova Istené Jézus Krisztusé legyen. Ámen. Köszönőm szépen.
[ HKP : “Dear Chris Bennet, I also testify that I am an anointed, consecrated, priest after the order of Melchizedek by the grace of God. All glory be to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. Amen. Thank you very much.” ]
I’ve now listened to Dutch Sheets on the ‘fresh age of the Melchizedek order’. Thank you so much, Jennifer. I’d been thinking a lot lately about the interweaving of asking and decreeing in prayer. Often the Holy Spirit does it for us, because it can be instinctive for believers, I think. I’d been thinking about the Lord’s Prayer too, and Dutch uses that. Where Christians sometimes get it wrong is trying to decree and command without the ‘spadework’ of praise and petition, as if we can somehow use that authority without being filled with the Spirit afresh. Dutch summed up with ‘deeper in humility and higher in authority’. By the Lord’s grace, let’s do it. I commend that YouTube link to other readers!
You’re very welcome Margaret H. Yes, I do believe the Petition and the Command works hand in hand, of course with a clean heart and a right spirit and the love of God radiating – let us do exploits in His Name, Amen.
Blessings peace and love to you dear Margaret M.
In the summer of 2024, when I was seeking the Lord about how to pray for Britain, and indeed for other things, I saw something almost like an abstract painting with splodges of paint, which for a moment meant nothing to me and then I knew the Lord was saying ‘jewels’, though the thing in the vision wasn’t at all jewel-like. I instantly knew – it was a priestly breastplate, and on there were the jewels for the 12 tribes of Israel. Worn on the High Priest’s heart. Our Lord Jesus wears that breastplate right now and we are on His heart, constantly and eternally. So are the huge things we pray for, such as the salvation of Britain, because not only is He our great High Priest, but we are kings and priests through Him and we share in that intercession because of what He enables us to carry on our hearts. His prayer is ours and our prayer is His. That revelation had a big impact on me – not something I could previously recall reading or hearing preached in quite such a direct and fresh way. So thank you Chris, for sharing a similar revelation.
The ‘Give Him 15 by Dutch Sheets’ link below that I came across this afternoon is an Awesome Confirmation of this Word.

What a privilege it is to have the Lord’s Ephod to access the Authority given to us for Intercession. Of a truth, the backlash from Intercession has not been easy.
Thank you Chris for such a Powerful Word.
Blessings peace and love to you and yours dear Chris.
“Wear your Ephod when you pray to Me!”
Yes, Sir! And now, Lord, it brings up that question for each of us again, to what degree is this subliminal with “me,” and to what degree is it overt? And do we do this once and stay mindful? Do we go through it numerous times? Each time?
I believe that in terms of process, the Lord answers that with individuals individually, 1:1 with Him. It’s that incorporated knowledge and glory (His presence) within the peace of the covenant we keep, plus His anointing within it, for which to ask.
