The Days Set Before Us Are Now upon Us!
What is it That Sets You Apart?
What is Your Prized Possession?
As I was finishing my worship-intercession time, I felt The Holy Spirit asking me, “What is it that sets you apart?” ….. and “What is your prized possession?”
Immediately my spirit bubbled up inside of me and I knew I was to TESTIFY my answer to the Heavenly realms as His Spirit moved within me to speak, “I have an intimate revelation of this Covenant-keeping God”
I felt the deep affirmation of The LORD, “Yes! Worship Me with Holy Fear and Reverent Awe!”
Earlier in the morning, in a devotion time with my husband, I had shared with him passages from Luke 4 and 5.
In Luke 4:18,19 Yeshua was appointed to read the actual scrolls that testified of His life’s commission on earth.
What had been ordained for Him to accomplish from before the foundations of earth and time was contained in that reading from the scroll of Isaiah 61:1-2.
“The Spirit of The LORD [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], to proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of The LORD [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound].” Luke 4:18-19 AMPC.
The miraculous and wonderful thing is that these passages were not randomly chosen for Yeshua to read, but were set far in advance to be read that morning in the synagogue as dictated by the priestly, Jewish customs. (See the Weekly Torah Readings)
We each in turn have a Heavenly scroll that has been designated for us to fulfill. For all who have been set apart to Him, our LORD YESHUA, we are designated to do and accomplish the works that He has prepared for us from before the foundations of the earth.
“For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship),recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them…” Ephesians 2:10 AMPC.
Those things that He prearranged and made ready for us to live…
We cannot do this effectively without an intimate revelation of His person, His character and His love. He doesn’t want us to simply have a “moral ascent” to a code of honor…
Dead doctrines are not going to bring His reality…
What we need is a living and dynamic relationship with Him led by the Holy Spirit and fueled by the Living Word that will usher in the miracles, signs and wonders that have been designated for this Hour!
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” Romans 1:16 NKJV.
Living Word and Light — Prayer and Verse audio, from John 1 —
Walk into Me
As I was pondering the Words that I felt The Holy Spirit leading me to write, The LORD spoke to me, “As you walk into The Word … you walk into Me.”
He is inviting us to be transformed into His Image through this Word, that He might be fully formed within us….
This will be the Living Substance of Heaven, that we have to offer the world around us!
Let The Holy Spirit guide you to the Living Water of His Person and Presence…
The LORD Jesus Christ wants to be both revealed to you, and formed within you in that “Living Word”!
Follow in the Footsteps of Yeshua
Later in the passage of Luke 4 Jesus enraged the leaders of the synagogue as He recounted what He was unable to do in Nazareth….
In verse 24 “Then He said, Solemnly I say to you, no prophet is acceptable and welcome in his [own] town (country).” (Luke 4:24) AMPC.
This is always a sobering thing to me, that The Living LORD was only able to do a few healing miracles here in Nazareth because of their unbelief!
In their hardness of heart they rejected love and light for their man-made doctrines and could not accept the greater reality of the spiritual Truth.
As Yeshua was in Capernaum though, we see the clear demonstration of His authority and power, as the people received Him with wonderment and astonishment.
“And they were amazed at His teaching, for His word was with authority and ability and weight and power.” Luke 4:32 AMPC.
How Hungry are you?
How hungry are you for His presence, and His living reality?
How consecrated are you to and for His purposes in your life?
Lean into this pursuit of Him with ALL of your heart!
“…God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38 AMPC.
In the days to come The LORD will be pouring out His spirit on ALL flesh. Make certain that you are ALL in — you don’t want to be found in the shallow waters that lead to deception.
Again He spoke as I was writing, “The days “set before us” are now upon us….!”
A lukewarm stance will miss His Presence and Provision!
Be found in Him!
As I’m ministering to people, I am witnessing deep healing of hearts, minds, souls and bodies!
These are the days that we’ve been waiting, for dear Saints!
As the days grow darker, His Light within us has the potential to shine even brighter for those whose hearts are fully committed to Him!
Hearts are hungry for His truth and love!
2 Chronicles 16:9 states that the eyes of The LORD roam throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him, and it warns that acting foolishly will lead to conflict.
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” 2 Chronicles 16:9.
This verse emphasizes God’s desire to support the faithful while highlighting the consequences of relying on worldly alliances instead of divine guidance.
“And He has anointed me as his preacher, his apostle, and his teacher of truth to the nations. The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God. And my faith in him convinces me that he is more than able to keep all that I’ve placed in his hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing.
Allow the healing words you’ve heard from me to live in you and make them a model for life as your faith and love for the Anointed One grows even more. Guard well this incomparable treasure by the Spirit of Holiness living within you.” 2 Timothy 1:11-14 TPT.
“Timothy, my dear son, live your life empowered by God’s free-flowing grace, which is your true strength, found in the anointing of Jesus and your union with him! And all that you’ve learned from me, confirmed by the integrity of my life, deposit into faithful leaders who are competent to teach the congregations the same revelation.
Overcome every form of evil as a victorious soldier of Jesus the Anointed One. For every soldier called to active duty must divorce himself from the distractions of this world so that he may fully satisfy the one who chose him.” 2 Timothy 2:1-4 TPT.
