The Emerging Voice: A New Order of Prophets
There is a powerful story in the Old Testament about a young Prophet (Seer) named Samuel who served before the high priest Eli.
Even as a boy, Samuel heard the audible voice of The LORD while ministering in the temple and Scripture tells us that Eli’s eyes had become dim. (1 Samuel 3:2)
As I read this passage, The Holy Spirit began to reveal to me that Eli’s dimming eyesight represents a loss of “spiritual sight.”
Some of you have lost clear vision of Jesus — confusion, distraction and weariness have clouded your spiritual eyes.
The LORD wants to renew your sight and reestablish His original purpose and plan for your life.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12.
When The LORD first called Samuel, the young boy did not recognize His voice.
Three times The LORD spoke and three times Samuel ran to Eli, thinking it was the priest calling him (1 Samuel 3:4), but after the third time Eli understood what was happening and told him, “Go and lie down, and if He calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening”
So Samuel obeyed and laid down in his place, and when The LORD called him the forth time, Samuel answered as he was told.
From that moment forward, Samuel began to hear clearly and as the years passed, Samuel grew and became one of the greatest prophets in Israel’s history.
None of Samuel’s words “fell to the ground”, meaning every prophecy he spoke came to pass with perfect accuracy.
Today there are old order prophets like Eli whose spiritual vision has grown dim.
Because of this The LORD is raising up a new order of prophets such as Samuel, to replace them.
There are also many prophets, evangelists and leaders from previous generations who are no longer with us.
Some have passed, some have retired and some have stepped down. Yet there are also those prophets who will receive a double portion (as Elijah/ Elisha) and who The LORD is going to empower and use mightily.
The LORD is also calling the Josephs, who have been mistreated and misunderstood, yet they have not taken offense.
Through warfare and tribulation, they have held fast to the Dream that God placed in their hearts.
They have resisted the seduction and lies of Potiphar’s wife and have walked in integrity over compromise.
Now The LORD is elevating them to become signs and wonders to The Nations. They will rise as leaders in times of famine, and teaching others to walk in integrity.
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” Romans 8:19.
The LORD is calling forth the Moses’ to raise up the Joshuas, to train a generation how to be strong and very courageous.
They will teach them leadership and how to be tenacious in Spiritual Warfare.
They will show them how to be more than conquerors in every battle, and they will encourage them to pursue the Plan and Calling of “Go!” on their lives, and never retreat in fiery trials.
The LORD is calling forth the Joshuas and the Calebs.
They are bold and very courageous warriors who will serve as leaders in His great end time army.
They are those who have a different spirit and know that they are well able to go in and possess the land that The LORD has promised them.
They will always return with a good report, refusing to back down from the enemy.
These faithful ones will advance into battle with confidence, knowing their God- given authority over every giant in the land.
The LORD is calling forth the Naomis to train up the young Ruths.
The mature, godly women will comfort and mentor the younger generation, teaching them to live a lifestyle of integrity, sincerity, and respect. They will sow them how to walk in humility, wisdom and honor in every relationship.
The LORD is raising up the Samuels.
Those who are called to be His clear voice to this generation. They have been marked from a young age, and they will recognize the Voice of The LORD, as they are appointed to be prophets to The Nations.
They will discern false teachings and false prophets with precision.
These Samuels will walk in consistent victory, because they are led by the Spirit and not by their own desires.
They know how to enter into the Holy of Holies and will teach others how to press in beyond the veil into deeper dimensions with God.
There they will receive the fullness of what Jesus has prepared for them.
The LORD is calling forth the Elijahs to raise up the Elishas imparting a double portion anointing.
These seasons prophets will train the younger generation, teaching them how to move in the gifts God has freely given to them.
They will demonstrate how to walk in their footsteps, operating in miracles, signs and wonders, with respect and reverence of the anointing on their lives.
The Elijahs are those who follow Jesus closely and refuse to deviate from the narrow path.
The LORD is also calling forth the Marys, those who are highly favored and are carriers of His Glory.
They are those who have declared in their hearts, “Be it done unto me according to Thy word.”
They have fully abandoned their lives and have been impregnated with His seed in their wombs.
They are those who are in labor and ready to conceive. They have been overshadowed by His Glory and they carry the Word deep within.
They will bring forth the promises of God to the ends of the earth and produce mighty Kingdom fruit.
For with Jesus nothing shall be impossible in their lives.
The LORD is calling forth the Pauls.
Those who once had a different name but have been radically transformed by His Grace.
They have overcome many battles, they have been delivered from the powers of darkness and now burn with a passion to rescue the lost at any cost.
They will be used mightily in miracles, signs and wonders.
They will raise up the young Timothys, teaching them to pray with power, turn from their sinful ways and walk in the holy fear and admonition of The LORD.
They will teach them how to refrain from sinful ways, and walk in the fear and admonition of The LORD.
They will train them to endure hardness as good soldiers of Christ and encourage them never to be ashamed of the Gospel.
The LORD is calling you — those who truly know Jesus, who understand His ways and who have fully submitted your lives to His call.
This is the season for you to rise as His bold ambassadors in the earth.
The new order is rising! A generation is waiting!
“And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5.
