A while back, I shared The LORD had said, “Those carrying any unbelief, are about to go into the midst of My Fiery furnace!”
In His Word, we read about the distinction between man finding himself in a battle, and in a fight. To overcome our battle is to understand the fight we are to face. Those who understand the difference will find themselves walking in the Spirit.
All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that The LORD saves; for the battle is The LORD’s, and He will give all of you into our hands. (1 Samuel 17:47)
If we look at 1 Samuel concerning David’s encounter with Goliath, David laughs at the giant because He knew God was with him.
The rock sank into the giant’s forehead, and he fell. David had complete confidence that The LORD would strike him down — and He did.
“This day The LORD will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head,” 1 Samuel 17:49.
God plays a part and we play a part.
The opposite of walking in The Spirit in one’s life means the enemy of our soul controls our emotions, desires, and will making even the simplest of battles a fiery furnace.
“Yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,” Romans 4:20.
Our fiery furnace is not destruction, but service by The Father.
We are His Silver tried until all of our impurities are purged away. The hotter the furnace, the more certain the process of one’s soul is to be purified.
This is our Refiner’s Fire — Melting away all the dirty, ugly misunderstandings we have gained along our journey, until we sparkle like gold.
During our Fiery Furnace, we learn that it destroys the dross sin and leaves a spiritual deposit within one’s soul of purity to be blessed when its work is finished.
“He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to The LORD — an offering in righteousness,” Malachi 3:3.
It is not the fire that burn’s us to worship The Father, but its His Fire that will burn within us until we worship Him completely!
Previously, I spoke about how when we do not submit ourselves to The Father, even a small little part of us, our soul will function apart from our spirit.
It takes painful work to relinquish our will to die to itself [carnal flesh]. Especially when it comes to fear, giving The Father our fear allows our spirit to work in unity with the Father.
“Die to self” gives the Spirit of God dominion over our souls.
I faced my fear by saying, over and over, “God is my defender!” If we truly believe and have faith that he will come, we are allowing Him access to do His Great work in us!
“My defense is of God, Who saves the upright in heart,” Psalm 7:10.
The First Fruit’s — or Barley Company — have conquered their inner man and have built a strong faith that the “feel good” attitudes no longer feel good, but the opposite!
Ever notice we have a God who loves the opposite? He uses the opposite to teach us!
The Barley Company has entered into the baptism of The Holy Spirit! Having no separation from soul and spirit!
His Spirit comes to indwell and live continuously. This Company does not act alone, for His Spirit comes to walk within each in all things! Praise God!!
However, the struggle continues for the Wheat Company, burning away the chaff as they work to overcome.
Do not be discourage, we are all born in captivity in a fallen land [dead] thanks to Adam and Eve in the garden.
Our individual fallen condition must be burned and melted away prior to walking in the Spirit.
“And you He made alive [being baptized] who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others,” Ephesians 2:1-4.
The Wheat Company struggles to avoid the “feel good” attitudes ending-up giving their soul [flesh] dominion. Their spirit is weak, they struggle to hear The Father’s Voice.
These ones are now entering The Fiery Furnace!
As they struggle, the furnace becoming hotter and hotter until what was once foreign to yield …. no longer gives them pain. This pain or high-test they have been avoiding has held them back from entering the Glory Gate, the presence of God.
They begin to have faith that God is working…. they see a glimmer of His light in themselves. And now and then they have peace and real joy! It may not last long, but they are starting to recognize the fiery furnace and begin to submit themselves to The Father when entering the fiery door.
We are told this in the John 16:33.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
We need our spirit strong and our faith stronger!
“With him is only an arm of flesh, but with us is The LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles.” 2 Chronicles 32:8.
This Company is starting to understand how to become His yielded vessel. They admit and willingly seat every thought, feeling, desire and affection at The Father’s feet. They have submitted to the battle they are fighting.
They welcome justification in their spiritual journey.
If we look at what Paul told Timothy concerning the fight in which mankind finds himself in 1 Timothy 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life.”
We are told that the battle is The LORD’s and that the good fight of faith is ours. We are here to face both the battle and the fight but with His Help! Hallelujah!
Grab this thought, We DO NOT Stand alone, hang onto it for your next battle.
We must allow God to perform his plans through us. Often time, his plan or trials provide no understanding, until we are completely on the other-side of it!
One day, we can stand back and recognize His work and how our fiery furnaces(s) participated in His plan for us to walk free!
But remember, when we find ourselves in the next fiery furnace…. take this to heart, the good fight of Faith, which is ours, is to continually believe that this battle is The LORD’s!
Take His hand and confess everything in Faith to Him.
Let my post become more than just mere words to you.
Let them sink down deep into your spirit, even meditate on them. Perhaps even look up words that truly stand out here on the screen. This is His Spirit speaking to you!
Take the time to seek Him in your secret place [tent] to uncover what is hidden within your heart to reveal the silver waiting to be refined into His Gold!
“So Joshua sent messengers, and They ran to the tent; and there it was, hidden in his tent, with the silver under it,” Joshua 7:22.
Next time, you come across a battle, let God manifest through you. Here are three ingredients to walk victoriously in your next battle with The Father.
The battle is The LORD’s — Hallelujah!
The fight for Faith is ours
The Faith is God’s Gift to us.
“For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith,” Romans 12:3.
Through this revelation, I pray you can rest, causing The Father to begin to work in you and through you! This is what it means to labor to enter into His Rest.
We must believe without a doubt that God will fight our battles as we travel the narrow road. Learn to take every thought captive replacing fear with faith… allowing the hidden things to be revealed by diligently offering every thought, situation and trial to The Father in faith!
Perhaps, even ask, “What are your trying to teach me through this?”
Then, we shall take one more step up His Staircase taking us higher and higher in we have unity with The Father. Hallejuah!
This is our Victory… Having peace in the midst of The Fiery Furnace, by fighting the good fight of Faith!
