The Kingdom of God
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
The Kingdom of God
What is this light I see?
What is this path ahead of me?
Could it be the answer to ev’rything?
The answer I have been seeking?
A heavenly Kingdom
A Kingdom of Light
The Kingdom of the Son
A Kingdom unshakable
What is this Righteousness?
What is this Love?
What is this Joy?
What is this Life?
That bears fruit in ev’ry good work?
Growing in the knowledge of God
Strengthening one with all power
According to His Glorious Might?
Could this be?
Could this be?
The straight path to God
Along with those who do not
Know God’s Wrath?
His Kingdom come
His Will be done
Right here and now
For He lives inside of His People
Oh yea, His Kingdom lives inside them:
Greater is He who lives inside them
Than he who is in this world
And they live by His Power!
Could this be?
Could this be?
The straight path to God
Along with those who do not
Know God’s Wrath?
What is this Peace?
This straight path with no wrath?
This Way, this Truth, this Life calling to me?
Oh Jesus the Son of God:
The Kingdom of God is before me!
Could this be?
Could this be?
The straight path to God
Along with those who do not
Know God’s Wrath?
His Mercy is falling on you
Calling you out of the darkness
Into His Marvelous Kingdom of Light
The Kingdom of God is in your midst
Oh believe and receive!
Could this be?
Could this be?
The straight path to God
Along with those who do not
Know God’s Wrath?
Blessed is He Who is the Word
Whose Kingdom never ends
Who rescues you from ev’ry evil attack
And will bring you safely to His Heavenly Kingdom
Who leads you to the straight path to God
Along with those who do not
Know God’s Wrath…
Could this be?
Oh could this be?
The straight path to God
Along with those who do not
Know God’s Wrath?
