The Lord says He WILL Protect His People and Israel
The Lord says:
“In My Word I have told what happens to nations that reject Me and Israel.
When you come against Israel, I come against you and every time a nation has attacked Israel in any way, in a major way, there has been a major disaster or political scandal soon after.
As for the nations which reject me, I gave warning what would happen to them.
I gave the list to the prophet Nahum for all to see and be warned by it:
DISASTER | CHAPTER/ VERSE
Tempest (storm) | 1:3 | |
Drought | 1:4 | |
Earthquake and fire | 1:5
Volcano Eruptions | 1:6 | |
Flood | 1:8 | |
Death of the people | 1:15
Diseases in the crops | 2:2
Invasion | 2:4 | |
Destruction of the nation as a political power | 2:6
Wealth removed | 2:9 | |
Pleasure removed | 2:11 | |
A place of evil | 3:1 | |
They will be mocked and derided | 3:8
No strength to stop invaders | 3:12
Land desolate, people removed from their land and so it will cease to exist as a nation | 3:18 |
So you see my judgments.
So I ask you: “Where is your nation in this?”
Does My enemy rule you so that your leaders oppress My people and hinder the expression of their faith? Or do they promote it?
How is your weather? Violent and unusual?
Is their unusual drought in the land?
Is the earth shaking more than ever before?
Is pleasure gone from My people so that they no longer have delight in their lifestyle?
Do they have comfort and security and dwell in peace or is there conflict and terror in the land?
Examine a nation and look at the list I have given you. Then you will see how Godly that nation is and whether or not I have had to abandon it to its fate.
My hand of protection is gone, when a nation no longer supports Me in its laws, but oppresses My people and My Israel.
But I still protect My People and they will shine in the darkness around them!
Jesus”

The date is interesting. 25 stands for perfect grace.
How can judgment be Grace?
It is God drawing attention to our failure to do his Will in the hope that we will repent. If we do not repent then the judgment sentence is fully carried out.
This is why we have the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, the way out God has given to a rebellious country.
Rather than God saying that we have sinned, then destroying us, His Love and Mercy gives us time to repent by placing on us the consequences of our rebellion to Him, in the hope we will repent and turn to Him.
