The New Huguenots

Linda G Bennett
My wife, Linda, is descended from the Huguenots who fled France between the late 1500’s to the late 1700’s.
Her family name was Marshall, originally probably Mareschal, meaning a ‘keeper of horses’!
Our interest in this little bit of family history was generated by a typed family history manuscript produced a few years ago by one of her cousins which subsequently found its way into her keeping.
This, in turn, led us to quickly research the history of the Huguenots, just out of curiosity!
Again, just recently, The LORD placed the young and even very young on my heart as the next generation of Christians — leaders in particular!
Now, it’s not a huge jump from there to make a link with the Huguenots, whose children were recorded as being filled with the Spirit and demonstrating the gifts, particularly that of prophecy. (See HKP Word: “Let the Next Generation Preach The Gospel!“ )
Now, The LORD is speaking to me about: “A new anointing for young people aged 3 to 18, the ‘New Huguenot’ anointing where children as young as two or three will prophesy, they will lay hands on the sick who will be healed.
At older ages, 11, 12, 13 or so, children will be preaching, and preaching with a wisdom and theological understanding not previously associated with younger people.
ALL such children, regardless of age will evangelise not only their own generation and peer groups, but older folk too.
A harvest field has been prepared for these young evangelists and preachers — a harvest field absolutely unimaginable to previous generations, where ‘children were seen but not heard’!”
“YES!” says The LORD, “Since you will not give children a voice, I The LORD, will do so.
I will raise them up and such shall be the effect of their ministry to you that you will not be able to ignore them nor keep them silent any longer.
Does not My Word say, “Out of the mouths of babes and children you have ordained strength!” (Psalm 8:2)
Children shall speak and I shall listen and harken unto them and you shall see My power delivered and demonstrated through them.
That is why I call them New Huguenots because of the anointing they will carry not because of the persecution they will endure!
These shall not flee as their ancestors fled. These shall stand and stay standing — such shall be their strength and resolve!” says The LORD of Hosts.
Amen!

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.

Sir, may God bless & keep you to witness more and more revivals in Jesus name.
I want to confirm the fact that this is already happening here in some churches in Africa sphere.
I was once invited to a church where I witnessed (saw) a little girl of about 9 years stood up to give prophecies to older people in the church. It was my first time seeing that and I was shocked!
May God bless our children/Youths with more anointing to work for God in Jesus name. Thanks
Yes, I’ve seen it too with 12 year olds preaching and with younger children aged 2-4 praying healing to adults.
Thanks for your encouragement.
Most appreciated Sir for your prompt response and all you do in God’s vineyard. More Grace Sir
AMEN! Let the Children Arise in Jesus Name Amen.
Blessings peace and love to you and yours dear Chris.
Thank you for always encouraging Jennifer
God bless you
