The Holy Spirit showed me something today about Satan’s kingdom.
Although he seems to look powerful and intimidating on the outside, his foundations are WEAK. Like a castle built on top of shifting sand; like a fortress built upon NOTHING but hollow earth.
His foundations are lies, deceit, and treachery. This foundation of darkness cannot withstand the Kingdom Warriors of Light!
There is no unity in the kingdom of darkness for unity is only found in the Kingdom of God. Keep believing the Truth, keep speaking the Truth, Warriors of God, stay united in Jesus and watch the Kingdom of darkness fall before you! His pillars shall come crashing down as the Winds of the Spirit blow and the Glory of God consumes the plans of the enemy.
For our God is a consuming Fire! The walls the enemy has built up to stop you shall be as rubble!
You will EASILY leap over it for he has made your feet like hinds feet to stand upon your high places, FAR ABOVE principalities and powers!
Fear not, Mighty Warrior! God Himself is our Pillar! He is the Pillar of Fire going before us!
“Know, this, My Beloved. You are MORE than conquerors through Him who loves you! Only My Word will remain!
I shall NOT leave My Place from before My people! Upon My Rock I have built My Church and I declare to you this day that the gates of hell shall NOT prevail against you!
Pursue the enemy, Beloved Warrior of Mine, with words of FAITH, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all!”
Pillar: A firm upright support for a structure; supporting, integral, or upstanding member or part, a body part that resembles a column. (see below, Song of Solomon 5:15)
“His arms are rods of gold set with beryl. His body is an ivory panel bedecked with sapphires. HIS LEGS ARE AS PILLARS of marble set on bases of pure gold. His appearance is like Lebanon, as majestic as the cedars,” Song of Solomon 5:14-15.
“And the LORD went before them in a PILLAR of cloud to guide their way by day, and in a PILLAR OF FIRE to give them light by night, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place before the people,”Exodus 13:21-22.
“Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven PILLARS,”Proverbs 9:1.
We are the Temple of God; Seven Pillars: The sevenfold gifts of the Spirit, the Seven Spirits of God before the Throne (Isaiah 11:2 Revelation 1:4), the number seven being a perfect number. Hereby the beauty and stability of the building are signified.
“So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all,” 1 Samuel 30:8.
“Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens of the saints and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone,” Ephesians 2:19-20.
“Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not be ashamed,” Isaiah 28:16.
“For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a Rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like hinds feet, and sets me on my high places,”Psalm 18:28-33.
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it!!”Matthew 16:18.
What is the rock? Peter’s faith (subjective)? or the truth (objective) which he confessed? or Christ Himself? Taking all the facts of the case, the balance seems to incline in favour of the last view. (1.) Christ and not Peter is the Rock in 1 Corinthians 10:4, the Foundation in 1Corinthians 3:11. (2.) The poetry of the Old Testament associated the idea of the Rock with the greatness and steadfastness of God, not with that of a man [Deuteronomy 32:4; Deuteronomy 32:18; 2Samuel 22:3; 2Samuel 23:3; Psalm 18:2; Psalm 18:31; Psalm 18:46; Isaiah 17:10; Habakkuk 1:12 (Hebrew)]. ©Ellicott Commentary.
