We are living in exciting times. Although it seems as if the powers of darkness are overtaking the world, Jesus the light of the world is hovering over the face of the earth, and we are about to receive a visitation from heaven in a glorious way.
The Holy Spirit is showing me that there is a remnant who are being groomed and polished for a mighty revival. They know their God and will be strong and carry out great exploits. In the word of God we read about men and women who went through horrendous trials but were used mightily by God because they never gave up on His promises.
In the book of Genesis there is a story about a man named Joseph. Joseph was favored by his father but despised and rejected by his brothers. His father gave him a coat of many colors which I believe is a metaphor of the LORD placing a prophetic mantle upon his life.
The LORD gave Joseph two dreams in which He showed him his destiny. His brothers hated him because he was highly favored of the father. They called him “the dreamer” and one day threw him into a ditch. They took his coat of my many colors, put goat’s blood on it, and took it to the father to make it appear as if a ferocious animals devoured and killed him.
They then sold him as a slave to the Midianites. During his time in Egypt, Potiphar’s wife lied about him, saying that he molested her and she took his robe from him to try to accuse him. This was the second time a garment was taken from Joseph.
I believe that the first garment “a coat of many colors” that they took was symbolic for his spiritual ministry which they tried to steal from him. The second garment which was a robe that Potiphers wife took from him represented his earthly ministry and integrity as he was tested and tried.
Potiphar knew in his heart that Joseph would not do such a thing, but he put him in prison to honor his wife. Soon after, Joseph was interpreting dreams in the prison as well as Pharoahs dreams.
The LORD says;
“There is a remnant who are determined and relentless against the enemies plots and will not retreat in difficult times. They are those who are standing on My word and the prophetic promises that I have made to them.
They will not bow to temptation, and will not submit to the voices of darkness. They will not allow anyone or anything to hinder them from going forward into all that I have called them to do. They will not allow anything to annihilate the vision that I have for them, and the dream that I have placed in their hearts.
Just as Joseph didn’t quit when thrown into a dark pit which was impossible to get out of in his own strength, I will also rescue them and they will come out unharmed. They will come forth as gold when tried in the fire.
Just as Joseph passed every test when put into prison, and faced the most difficult situations of his life, there is a remnant who are set apart to all that I have called them to do. They will be leaders who will come to the front lines and lead their comrades.
They will walk in a new understanding and revelation of My word as I reveal My mysteries to them. They will store up these treasures in their hearts, and a new revelation will be released. They will come into a time of understanding and comprehension beyond their natural means. They are not moved when their dreams seems to be going in the opposite direction than they expected because their trust is in Me.
There is a tenacity in the heart of the remnant that continues to pursue My plans and purposes regardless of what they see in the natural. They are not fearful or fainthearted, but they are bold and they are strong and will rescue others from captivity. They will be those who demonstrate My anointing and My power in a new way to this generation.
So rise up you mighty men and women of valor and carry out the assignment that I have for you,”
says the LORD.
Joseph stayed faithful to the LORD through it all and eventually Pharaoh made him the Vizier which is the highest official in Ancient Egypt to serve the king. Pharaoh also placed a gold chain on his neck and put his signet ring on his finger which meant that Joseph now owned and had authority over everything that was Pharaohs. He then gave him a new name which was Zaphnath-Paaneah which means “Revealer of mysteries”.
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him,” 2 Chronicles 16:9.
“Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits,” Daniel 11:32.
“For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed,” Romans 8:19.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen,” Ephesians 3:20-21.
