In July 2019, we were in Wales when I posted about a New Sound we first heard in a meeting there.

This is what I originally posted :-

The Sounds of Revival (July 2019)

I heard a ‘new sound’ again the other day. We were in a couple of meetings in Wales.

One was a house group Prayer Meeting, the other was a public gathering and outreach.

We’ve heard this sound BEFORE. You may remember we spoke of being in a meeting in Wales where 40 or so people singing sounded like 2-300 people.

Then the next day 12 of us sounded like 50+ PEOPLE! Well, it happened again this week — in the same town, in the same place, with many of the same people!

The meeting began with praise and worship and we were getting into the worship when The LORD called me outside! “Why, Lord? This is good — isn’t it?”

But He kept calling me so, a bit reluctantly, I obeyed.

Then I realised why! I suddenly realised the beauty of the sound I was hearing. It wasn’t just that we were singing a slow, old, well-loved song, followed by more spontaneous Spirit-led worship.

I realised I was listening to harmonies weaving in and out. Both simple and complex harmonies. I knew the ladies leading enjoyed harmonising, but this was beyond anything I’d heard them attempt before. This was angelic harmonies joining ours to worship the King of Kings!

I returned to the meeting room — but I couldn’t hear the rich mixture I could hear OUTSIDE. I could hear only a muted version — good but not the same

Then we sang a song called “Sarah’s Song” — an anthem for Wales.

Then I could hear the great volume of voices again! 2-300 people holding hands and singing together rather than the 40-50 who were actually present!

The LORD confirmed this later. He showed me the ‘Sound’ I’d heard earlier as being ‘The Sound’ to draw adults.

Then He reminded me of ‘the sound’ we’d heard that drew youngsters. Then He spoke again.

“The ‘sound’ of revival that I’m sending will be different for each generation. Don’t mistake the sounds I’m sending for the sounds of the world.

Always test each sound for My Spirit, for the anointing, for My presence! Be careful not to dismiss the wrong sounds.

There will be those sent and determined to mis-lead you into ‘banning’ the sound I AA sending.

Yet the true sound will always point people, young and old, to Jesus. It will always carry My presence and My anointing!”

“There are coming New Sounds!” says The LORD. “These Sounds will draw people to Me and will also separate wheat and tares, Spirit-filled from religion filled!”

Then, in December of 2020, we received a short video clip of a prophet called Ed Watts at a conference in Brunswick, GA, USA, in which Ed spoke of a new sound.

It resonated so well, so deeply with me — I got very excited as I listened to him and it felt like butterflies in my belly! I heard again the sound I heard originally — the sound of many, many voices when only a few were singing.

I hear the sound swell and fall away, rather like the sound of waves on the shore, and I am reminded of Smith Wigglesworth’s prophecy of wave after wave of the Spirit bringing revival to our shores.

I hear the Sound of Revival tonight. I also feel that Brunswick GA, experienced a serious dose of Glory.

NOW, I hear this volume of sound rising in our meetings.

It’s like a large choir is singing with us — an angelic choir, I believe. Oh, praise God – I hear the sound of revival rising to a crescendo — despite us and our lack of repentance or unity rather than because of us — being released — The UK and The USA.

We still need repentance. We still need intercession. We still need those who will pay the price. Even so — I hear The Sound of Revival being released here in the West.

It’s coming — Glory to God \o/ LORD, send your Revival, let us hear the Waves of Revival as they crash like ocean rollers on our shores!
