Amen, אָמֵן, simply stated means, “So be it.” I am finding that the more we study God’s word, the more revelation, wisdom and truth is unveiled to us. If that is so then how is it that we can fall into varying levels of deception? The Lord said to me. “There is a difference between learning and knowing truth and believing truth.” Many times he would say to me, “What may seem like a wall to many, could seem as a door to others.”

When we receive truth and in our hearts we say, Amen. We are embracing what has been revealed to us and access is granted into greater truths. Well I could hear the words spoken in one of my favorite old movie that says. “Well, you can’t handle the truth.” The reality is that even after hearing the truth our own refusal to embrace it could keep us stuck in a place of denial, a refusal to gasp the reality before us.

But the truth we believe and begin to walk in can take us into greater levels of truth. There comes a time where we say Amen in our heart, and as we do; we are able to advance into places of enlargement. Because what limited us had to do with how we were thinking. There are greater things waiting on us as we believe/ receive/ embrace truth today. Some things that we have been waiting on, have been waiting on us. Many times our choices are tied to varying levels of accountability. And we find ourselves settling for things that we didn’t want rather than facing what we knew would challenge us.

Lord, we pray and ask you to show us truth that we need to believe throughout this season. Father today we see ourselves believing what we have failed to receive in love before. Lord take us into a new place of enlargement with you. Continue to walk with us and talk with us. We desire to keep our streams pure and not stagnant. Help us deal with the things that will challenge us to choose what is right, rather than choosing what’s comfortable so that we can walk in the reality of what you have already made us to be.

The fact is we can handle the truth, it is good for us and therefore we receive it with gladness. Now we yield ourselves to you, take us into the next journey of our lives that contains endless possibilities. We are ready for it because we are stepping into you Christ Jesus and through you there are no limitations. Amen, Amen, Amen.
